What an overwhelming lesson to all artists! Be not afraid of absurdity; do not shrink from the fantastic. Within a dilemma, choose the most unheard-of, the most dangerous, solution. Be brave, be brave! - Isak Dinesen
love this green fairy Clogood luck!

ciaooo!
Aurelie, I just went through all the pages since my last comment, and damn, you're really moving! This thread is always an inspiration, and I love all the face/expression studies. You could make a line of dolls with these designs. Love the WIP pics of the Green Fairy, and the final is killer. Great use of Nouveau style, and it's nice to see a little departure from your usual style/colors. So is your book available online yet?

And a drawing of my dog Seamus as a gladiator, we had this idea while doing silly puns about our dog's name and Gladiator movie, with Flu-o.
Here is a pic of him hehe :

And the pooch , ye shall fight for its bones ^^
like the brush tests , really like where your going with that , maybe evolving your style , nice ( does she look like you or is it just me?)
Ah! The dog gladiator is hilarious! The expression on his face alone is priceless

Is it a coincidence that your dog's name is Seamus? There's a song on Pink Floyd album Meddle called Seamus. It was inspired by the band's friend's dog "Seamus" who barked every time it heard harmonicaYou can hear it in the song.

Thirdeye : Yeah I know! It's a part of the reason of his name, and also because he was red haired with curly hair, like a little Irish dog. And he loves that song by the way!

Lovely work. (And slightly relieved that you're having camera trouble as well, I can't get any decent photo's of my work too.)

Very late to comment on it but the fairy is 100 kinds of fabulous. Love the colors in this pic. McSeamus is wonderful, too, though the foreground figure takes a bit away from it for me. Inspirational work as always.
Youre awesome CloClo XD
Hey
That last piece is great! And it reminds me of a book I read at the moment: "Rumo & his Miraculous Adventures" by Walter Moers, for there are doglike mythical creatures (with horns), which stay on two feet and fight with swords etc (at the moment in an arena like your scene)
I just can recommend all to read that book (but its nothing for kids!!) as well as I can recommend all to look through this thread and see the great art in here.
Oha..comics.
the first time i stumble over your sketches: my comment ?
powerful, cute and tasty, although i stopped to read and look comics. But i like to see some vignettes, yes.
