Do you sketch them out in pencil first, or just go straight in with pen?

I love your Bear painting. I absolutely love it, you capture that feeling perfectly. Your work is extremely inspiring but I am legally obligated to leave a crit, so I would think more about your line weight. Your lines are all very uniform but I think your delicate subjects might be better served with fine lines that thickened at areas of contrast or importance. Just an idea. Keep up the wonderful work.
