You really have your way with color i see , that's very good. Oh and thanks for the color theory link , i teacher once said to me that you learn drawing and values , and such , but only color has to come natural. If it doesn't , your just waisting time.

    Cheers , G.R.

    Avast! He be updatin' 'gain!

Glad to see some pencils from you, I was wondering whether you just started with digital at age five and never stopped...
Nice message at the bottom of the, err, bottoms page, too. Bottoms which deserve to be seen btw - it's not fair the boys get all the delicate white meat here on CA; the male bum seems to be an endangered species altogether!

Dare I inquire how much you feel loosened up so far? I mean, getting out of the comfort zone and regular excercise is admirable, but I'd hate to see you're not having a good time doing so...

Damn, that is really impressive work. Out of all of them I really love the picture of the broken train car. The atmosphere is really well done, but I have always been a sucker for destruction scenes like that.

Hallo fellahs... been away for a while sorting some funky life shit out, and a massive black workshop (cant forget that), here's a slight update to get this intrenet update thing going again. Very drunk now sorry for the crap update this was done in NZ (will update when sober on that, was amazing two weeks but not in right mind to tell stories right now) some of it in a car on a bumpy new zealland road during a roadtrip. more updates to come, yes anatomy sucks - gotta continue studying till i die, semper fidelis ars and all that. im gonna hate myself in the morning.

PS i know this picture sucks but i had to pretend to be a big cool artist and sketch meaninglessly into my sb when surrounded by these creepy art dudes whose mad skillz were beyond my feeble powers. theres a few more pics in my sketchbook but my scanner told me to reinstall HP imaging drivers because of a memory problem. fuck that ill deal with it in the morning. i'll reply to all your posts later wont make much sense nowl.

Farsh, I love what you are doing here. You really inspire me to paint more and get better. Please continue as you are, as you please, as I know you are not complacent with the skill you have which is good.

Also, I was enjoying your updates for the fantasy role playing game thing. Its too bad that thing seems to have dwindled off, but ohwell, just keep updated here at least

Okay a bit late replying, but better late than never...

Joeseph k - Thanks a bunch! That robot was the peak, never been the same since.

My57 - Thanks! Well the best general advice i can probably give is to keep experimenting and learning. I stick to very simple brushes myself, values in painting are hard to learn and i dont get them yet either. Just don't give up if you don't like your results at first, just keep going at it.

    Hannes - Thanks man

    MIKETAYLOR - Thanks very much

shamandalie - arghh shit, i forgot to ask for his autograph. i'm so sorry! the workshop was so hectic i meant to do it but forgot at the last moment. thanks as usual anyway. Sorry again

    sinneart - thank you

Mischeviouslittleelf - Thanks! what painting? the last one? I think i sort of gave up on that one =\

Pseudocognition - Thank you Like i said, that was my peak. Never did another robot like that again...

flamable - yeah, color's a real bitch. thank you!

Ahnem Mee - Loosened up? As in gained confidence while drawing? Unfortunately, not yet, not until i get better at figure drawing. I'm having a good time learning though, so i guess its alright. Thanks for dropping by!

    selfu - thanks mate!

    hunchbackmagee - Thanks!

    Ayden -

Nubb - I'd disagree, but appreciate the comment

    Imaginary - thank you!

    Wykin - thanks a lot!

Dragonspit - not really seeing the variety in here, but thanks!

Trent0090 - broken train car? that was ages ago, thanks man!

    momothemonkey - thanks!

    Nesser - thank you

ayden - I'm the church, bitch!

Calcaneus - ah, that was ages ago, stupid thing is, it kinda got me back into art for a while. Thanks for dropping by!

    Whoa, that took ages.

Well, since flying back from NZ, i've been hit with a lot of stuff (not art related) keeping me busy, sadly, but all thats out of the way for now. Gonna get back to more studies, before i finally enlist in the army, which will be in the end of january. New Zealand was wonderful, a very beautiful country where nature hasn't been fucked over completely by the human race yet. Lots of things to draw, great people to meet, but thats a really long story and i need a break from typing right now. So.... here are some quick value overlays of some sketches done in NZ which i finally scanned in recently. Now back to honest studies before someone kills me for being a rendering wh0re.
