Hello everyone! I'm new here, I draw for fun and want to see how far I can push myself. There's a long way to go, as you will see.
I used to draw from imagination a lot, rarely using photo reference. That means repetitive stuff, a bit lacking depth and realism. I decided I need to sketch more real things and especially real people, so this is what my sketchbook will contain. Advice, criticism and generally helpful comments are warmly appreciated!

Well, that's not necessarily true -- you WILL get faster, and you'll get bits, but the idea when doing the cafe sketching is really to get the gesture, and maybe the basic shape, and then fill in the details at your leisure from memory. A friend of mine who works in the game industry could draw monkeys as they swung by at the zoo like that.
