Spectrum 15 Deadline... Friday!

Hey guys,
here is a heads up that the deadline for Spectrum 15 is this Friday!
That's not much time.

I'm making prints today and mailing them out US Priority mail.
For those of you overseas, try to do it asap.
The Fenners are usually pretty gracious about entries coming in a little late, especially from overseas.

I say it every year, and I'll say it again.
For those who are interested in promoting their artwork and getting jobs in the illustration field,
there is no better way to spend your marketing dollar than by submitting to Spectrum.

I do a lot of different forms of advertising, and consistently, Spectrum is what gets me in touch with new clients the most.

The entry fee is just $20 a piece.
But the great part is, if you get in, they give you a copy of the book for free.
Since the book costs about $35, I'd say that's a pretty sweet deal.

Lots of CA members made it in past years.
Most notably,
Andrew Jones took the cover of #14,
Donato took the cover of #13,
Jason Chan took the back cover of #13,
Duddlebug took a Silver medal in #14,
Daniel Dociu Gold took a medal in #14,
and a lot more I know I'm forgetting.

May I ask where you are printing yours? I'm trying to print them at home and so far colors are wrong and quality isn't acceptable. Thanks in advance.

Lately, I print mine at Kinko's.
They have a copier called a Docucolor that's quite good and accepts digital files.

Otherwise, I just print them at home on my Epson.

Does the cd/thumbdrive/memory card get directly put into the copier, have to go through their computers, or do you give it to them to print?

The entry form for Spectrum 15 states that the submitted art "...must have been created or first published between January 1, 2007 and January 1, 2008." So, it's unlikely that most LMS3 round 1 entries would qualify...?
