Found out that the "Blade Runner: 4-disc set" I thought was one of my b-day gifts was really for Christmas.

I did get for my SO and a friend's son (who is becoming quite the creative), bonsai trees. And a few others rec'd oil paintings and digi prints. Thought I should throw that in, too.

A shiny new cooking timer that actually works.
A huge pile of pistachio nuts that I will probably make cookies from.

...and discovered that the little steel pin clips that they use to hold new folded shirts together now are perfect for making clay-working tools from if you just add a handle (they're spring steel and about 1/4" wide at the flat end and about 1-1/2" long.
