I'm having a hard time figuring out what's going on here apart from the mountains that are quite obviously done in Bryce and the photograph backdrop sky.I having nothing against utilizing 3D software if it can serve as a convincing and unifying foundation, but this is more of a shake'n'bake backdrop. The foreground is very hard to read as anything more than a mess of juxtaposed shapes and effects filters. Right now, I see one spaceship (?) that's been pasted on to the scene three times, either with a scale change or a vertical flip. The shape itself tells us very little structurally aside from an interesting silhouette. The station is almost entirely unreadable. To top it off, you have those splattered light particles obscuring the image even more and not really adding anything to the composition. I hate to sound so harsh I think it would help you out greatly to go back to your concept and really draft it out comprehensively by hand, staying clear of the obvious photoshop short cuts. Hope that helps.
