    Woah! A lot of improvement!

You weren't kidding! You say you were worse than me when you joined (Dec 2007? 'Round 7 months ago!) and you're already so good? I'm very impressed. ^^ I love your paintings, especially the backgrounds. And also, thank you very much for the feedback on my SB. I bet in the next seven months you'll be even better!

    Keep on drawing!

Looking god dude, def improvement since the start and it looks like your on track to keep it up, One thing i would suggest tho, is having a go at some anatomy studies esp the underlying bone structure and proportions. Keep sharing ;-)

So I made an imitation of Lotet's style. Just something quick, and it is kind of an insult against Lotet, because his stuff is way greater than this.

Anyway, thought it may be good for a giggle.

First off, thanks for stopping by my sketchbook. Second....this is more proof that practice makes perfect. It seems like you're abilities exploded when you turned eighteen. Kinda like zits just appear on a thirteen-year-old's face one life-altering morning.
Do me a favor, bro? Do some more of the black and white stuff? My favorite drawing you've got in here is the one of the woman smoking, with heavy shadowing and light cross-hatching. need. more.

Sorry for not having posted for so long. Been real busy with school. Been making a movie (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X8cR6PZomSg). Been having a girl friend.

My sketchbook is bursting to the seams though. I've improved tons over the summer. I'll try to get some pages scanned soon enough. Until then, all I have to show is two quick enviroments.

    Sketch dump

So I started a new sketchbook in the beginning of this summer, and I've been drawing in it up until now. Somewhere in there, I must have seen Batman. I've been real lazy about scanning my sketches. I promise to get better. Here are a few of the pages. From old to new.

Painted some zombies during an english lesson today. Trying to catch the mood. Also I made a few keyframes for a trailer we're making at school. They were pretty rushed, hence the sub-par quality.
And I almost forgot this tank sketch which was really quick and sloppy.

Pretty happy with the zombies though, only spent around 50 minutes on it, while at the same time listening to the effect of immigration in England.

Hey thanks for stopping by again! I've finally fixed the scanner, so if you wanna see what's new, go ahead and check it out.

I love how you put so many different things in your sketchbook! I think what caught my eye the most was the portrait of your girlfriend (I bet she loved it ^^) and the backgrounds. Your sketches are also real nice. Definitely showing improvement on your end too.

    Keep on postin.

Loads of improvement here buddy. Keep em' coming. Are you doing any anatomy studies? Any studies of any sort (besides photo references)? Studies will help big time. From personal experience all I can say is that life drawings is the way to go! You learn so so much from them.

wickededges: Thank you. Despite popular belief, I am doing a few studies. But I'm so shamefully bad at them that I rarely post them
andyhunt: Thank you so much. It took alot of colour adjustments to get it just right
    OmertA: Thanks dude.
Ricardo Robles: Thanks. I do enjoy a good B-movie horror flick, which is what inspired me. Well, that and the zombie mode of Call of Duty 5.
SkyTheArtist: Thanks! Yeah she was pretty happy alright. Hadn't seen her for a few months so I thought I'd do something special.
Peetaer: Yep. I try to go out as often as possible and sketch people hanging around.
Kim bot: I know dude. I know it so well. I'm just to scared to ruin a good sketch with a lousy hand. But I'll get to studying them. Tomorrow. Or maybe next week. Or sometime next year... Just kidding. I'll get them soon enough!

For today, I have a few speedpaints, testing out my new custom brushes. I got a bit lost when I was designing the evil character.
I'm a bit annoyed at myself for sticking to enviros and not even trying to paint a character with a face. Just a bit too scared I guess. Gotta do something about that.
