if the star (i assume its a star) is meant to be the only light source then you need higher contrast shading, deep shadows, between every fold in the cloth there should be a black shadow.

also if the snowflakes are meant to be glowing you will find light sourcing from them.

i notice some slight back lighting on the character, but where does this light source from? its fairly confusing. only ever show light from sources that are obvious or easily guessable, for instance the sun.

not on the lighting i prefer detailed shading instead of relying on the lines, however thats against the style and not the art itself. i personally feel that lines cheapen an image and i do recommend progressing away from them, however i guess it really depends on who your audience it and who your trying to please. this image would be idea for a small children's book (i assume its meant to be the angel Gabriel with the star above Bethlehem (oh Gabriel was a guy)) so an illustration or whatever. meh, sorry about the rant.

the face and hair looks great and perfectly acceptable, however the hand on the chest is slightly off, its very minor but the little finger ends too thickly, just make it thinner, alternatively if its meant to be curling then change the lines so it looks that way.

its a nice pic, good luck perfecting it =)
