Lookin' sweet!@
I think it would look better if he was hunched over into the microphone and screaming. It would add much more force and emphasis into the position.
Clochette - definately
CrissCross - cool..wont be doing that though..i get pretty ocd when i put my images together...this can be biger, that can be rotated a little, etc..it never ends..so when i find something i like i try to just stick with it.
well i downloaded both jason chan videos..UNREAL..
so i was pretty inspired to put to use what i learned..i kept the same theme because lets face it..girls and tentacles are just fuckin dope!....so heres 2 wips.
yeah i really like your sketchbook man. Specially like these brown paper drawings, character pops out of the papergotta try this myself some time. Anyway keep up the good drawings and sketches.

Just wanted to say what an awesomely kick ass sketchbook you have.
Hey DeKal,
Your latest painting is looking real nice so far, excellent rendering on her head and face area.
So you found the Jason Chan vids useful? You where obviously inspired by them.
Look forward to seeing the finished piece.
Quinn
Rax - thank you bro..yea some white highlights on that brown paper was really effective..fun too...quick results
Maidith - i really really appreciate that..im a fan of yours too..im gonna stop by your sb again soon.

Very nice finish, love the pattern on her dress, You got this one done fairly quickly as well!
Got the Jason Chan Quick Sketch vid, allot of very useful tips, thanks for the heads up on those, need to get the other one now.
Quinn

is my absolutely favourite picture! The expression of the face, the fine details, the textures (I LOVE the tattoowork!!!) ... I am totally amazed and speechless! You know what you can do and that fascinates me. Really good work!
Your other things are great too and you are getting better piece by piece!
Hope to see more soon!
Rebecca
quinn - thanks bro...yes definately get the other vid.
InFlame - i REALLY REALLY appreciate those comments...!
im doing this for a competition to get my art to wrap around garbage cans on miami beach...pretty cool opportunity, i get 200 bucks if mine is picked...ironic..to put good art on garbage cans....but it works..lots of people should see...
im calling this "Misunderstood Beauty"
Awesome sketchbook, the shark has some really excellent tones, great composition.
Keep up the great work.
The last two updates are exceptionally colored. It's about time garbage cans get recognized for their usefulness, and now artistic vision will hold it together. I remember going to this oceanic art gallery in downtown Hollywood but I forgot the artist's name. The same scenic beauty that characterized the artist's drawings of the coral reefs and sharks descending the cerulean blue tides can be found in your painting. Newgrounds have been pierced this year, Mr. D. Machete the foliage.
Keep doing you

Love your pencil works, they've got such character and great line quality. Your latest batch was excellent and pleasant to look through. I always find great inspiration when dropping by in your sb, thanks for sharing your art![]()

Those last three paintings are phenomenal! your ability to paint beautiful women is always very inspiring to me. Thanks for sharing these.
Quinn
Is that Airbrush in the last post?
got some sweet pieces flowing in your Sb with an extra twist of "fresh"!that crying winged busty girl bust was esp. nice!
Still the hottest chicks in the house which are to be found in your thread. That spraycan one is nice! Must be really difficult to handle.
niko - thanks man..you too
quinn - thanks bro..ima stop by your sb soon.
mr joe - nope..all spray paint
smokenmirrors - appreciate it man. i like your stuff a lot too..good character designs. i want to see a few rendered out a little..the lion centaur or the riflemen are my favs.
algen - thanks man..yea spray paint isnt the easiest media..wind, clogged caps, shitty surfaces..too many things can go wrong..experience is the only thing that saves me sometimes..
a couple things..my first attmept at a full figure character concept with a costume and accessories..no ref..pretty obvious.
and a skin tone an anatomy study..
Your pieces are always looking good, the anatomy on the last two looks a bit funky though. Im diggin those pencil sketches though, your line quality is beautiful. You have any graffiti flicks? With those portraits done in spray paint and the can control, I'd love to see what your pieces look like, especially letters etc... PM me if you've got some, otherwise, good isht.
