excellent figure work man, the evil genie is awesome, too bad it wasn't supposed to be male or else you'd definitely have my vote.

Makes me wonder why that final piece of your Evil Genie didn't get in... Maybe due to the lack of "evilness" but all in all the final outcome is fantastic!...

BTW, you got a really nice style...

Or because it was supposed to be female.

I gotta say though, man, you've got some really nice stuff in here, and it's a shame that oreg couldn't take the genie to poll. I'm also really liking your amaterasu.

mongosmash - thanks man, unity in variety..you just gotta pull it off right
tydal - theres no way i can appreciate that enough.
kfeeras - thanks bro, just keep checkin back..i update every now and then
left - thanks man..ive drawn forever but graffiti in high school gave me a real reason for it...now i guess ive left it behind for this stuff...i like incorporating graff affiliated imagery whenever i can though.
seba - yea..dont feel like typing the reason again..just go to the post where i posted the image and read what i wrote..thanks though man.
daestwen - thanks man...its cool about the genie..i knew what the deal was..i just really liked where the piece was going so i finished it..i like your amaterasu too!

the first bunch are self portraits inpired by looking at andrew jones 1000...though ive barely gotten though looking at half of them...never realized he posted each individual portrait in that forum..a nice late surprise. the rest are just personal stuff and an album cover i did for these cats..enjoy! thanks again everyone for the interest...probly wouldnt have posted if yall didnt comment

You have some really nice work here. Really enjoyed the back stabbing one from the first post, as well as your Medusa CHOW entry and the figure drawing of the girl with the black eye. Thanks for sharing... looking forward to future updates.

You do really great work man. I really love your style, its really unique to you. One question. Are you self taught or have you studied or taken classes for your artwork? Also I really love the work you have been doin in the CHOW. You always suprise me with your takes on the different topics. Keep on doin what you are doin man.

That's for stoppin' by man, drawing without ref is a bitch ain't it?
You seem to be doin' alright with it. It helps if you manage to somehow sponge all the information around you or supplied by bridgeman/hogarth/whoever (which i am still yet to do) and just knowing how you want shit to go. closing my eyes n' visualizing for a while seems to help more in the long run as well than just going in cold.

That girl coming out of the bathtub is intense.. She is huge upper body so it seems weird how the rest of her body would fit in that tub. The portraits are awesome by the way.

GeistDel - ive been drawing since elementary school..i went to college and majored in studio art but by no means was my school an art school..my teachers were whatever...id say i did a good 70% of my learning on the internet and in my room. but thanks for the comment about my CHOWS..super appreciated.

TroyWilkerson - ha..yea its a bitch when im tryin to make my no ref work look like it was reffed..but if im just goin for my trippy weirdo characters its fun..ive got a bridgman book and have been doin anatomy copying for a little bit now..still lots more work though

heres an update..a bunch of real sketchbook stuff. some reffed, some not, and some life drawing.. i was getting another tattoo the other day and drew this while waiting. i think it came out dope.
also, jumping on the bandwagon with some bridgeman stuff.
and the last CHOW, with some wips...thanks again everyone! enjoy

Awesome work. Your pencil sketches are a joy to look at, and the one with the grafitti artist is nothing short of epic, keep up the good work man!
