hello everyone. these are just some digital studies that i did a while ago. i bought a wacom tablet recently so i still need to get the hang of certain aspects of drawing digital and find out what i can do with my wacom. ( PLEASE SKIP TO THE LAST PAGES...cause the art on the first pages are embarassing )

I'm glad I stumbled onto this thread, your work is beautiful There's a lovely gestural quality that I love, and I think your use of (shades of) color is absolutely wonderful I can't wait to see more!

You have some nice sketches here. I would suggest for you to watch for your proportions. Do some anatomy studies. And make sure when your doing the hair not to make it as large as the head.

Hey, those are really nice digital doodles. Becareful with those edges, some of them are a tad too soft instead of a little hard. Keep it up!

I think you sometimes have the same problem as me - everything is soft, so the overall contrast is low.

but if these works are just the beginning - i'm sure you'll get in 5star section in no time

hahaha this tread of mine is so dead well here i am again trying to pump some life into this one. with some new sketches. also,my scanner was not working today so i had to use my bad photocamera and to make thinsg worse, my tablet also did not work so i could not make them very pretty but i hope you like them anyways...even if it is just a little bit

i know that the head on the first one is not connected correctly to her body....i was to lazy to correct that

    I like that hair...nicely done

I'm more a penciller than a digital artist so i can't give pointers on that.

    But still nice work

You're doing good, I'd like to see some more of your pencil art though.

Quick question though, how long does it take you to draw or paint an image usually?

to ralph: don't worry, even if you don't do computer art a lot you are still free to give pointers ^_^
    cyprinus: thank you
geoxen: thanks i think there will be enough pencil arts from me in the future so don't worry

how long it takes me for drawing or painting? it really depends...quick sketches like the ones in this topic can take me 15-45 minutes. a full drawing can take me one hour to several hours. it all depends on the topic and what is in the drawing and such.

You have improved a lot since Abunaicon 2006! Your pencil work has become amazingly well. I guess you didn't sit still in Japan and it's nice to see that you're still doing well. Keep up the good work, I'll be dropping by occasionally!

You're pretty good, but make sure you're in a good mood when you want to draw first. Then again, that won't help much.
