Thanks man. I really need to upload more studies.

I'm back at uni now though, working on an animation major throughout the year with two good mates of mine............ Guess what our animation's going to be..... here's a hint.

You've shown some serious improvement since page one. Good job! I love the marker look to your colors.

And a Sparkster fan art? My younger self is giddy with excitement over that piece, haha!

Keep up the good work, I'll be checking in when I need some motivation to actually color my stuff

Artist: Thanks man. I overlay a small texture over the top just to break apart the flat colours a bit:

New layer over all, then a mid-grey fill at 100%, filter > add noise (full, monochrome), then filter > gaussian blur 1px... set layer to Overlay mode and bring down to around 15-20%. Nice little TV grain texture.

Alex: Thanks, I'll totally upload it.

Art Minded: Thanks heaps, sparkster's the man!

    T-Boy: Thanks!

    _Kino_ cheers, colours are fun.

Here's a WIP for Greeter. Does anyone have any tips about bringing greyscale images to colour? I've done it before but would really appreciate any extra tips you might now of.

    HI matey

I would just like to reitterate that I think you are quite barmy and bonkers (or raving mad!) but I would have any of your work on my wall as inspiration for a lesser mortal (like me) to be inspired by.
I dont know where your inspiration comes from but I'm very glad it does, keep up the good work old chap its been a pleasure!

    all the best to you

    Crickey, thanks heaps!

Lightship: Spend a night looking at an art blog you like, if it's on blogspot usually there'll be a list of fave artists for that person on the right hand side, just open each of those blogs in a new tab, scan through all of them, and keep doing that. You'll go through a few hundred great illustrations a night, more than enough to get you amped and drawing.

    A few expressions for Skit....

O-M-G! Everything that's coming out of you is awesome!

Is it possible to thank a post TWICE?!

But seriously though, when I first started scanning through these newest updates, I was like... "Hmmm I really like his markers more." but then as I kept going, now I'm like "Can't Decide... CANT DECIDE! BRAIN ANEURYSM!"

Do you already work for a studio? And if not, they would be lucky to have you.

It's looking dramatic and not cute. I'm cool with that.

I suppose it'll be harder to put your foot in your mouth having legs on your chin. I might have to ask for some surgical help.
