Reached page 11. Bad timing was in the middle of nothing great haha.

Doing something and then straying from the original shows you how little you know. I decided to change things from the original reference of my friends but then I decided to change the color, since it was a pretty bad ref, values too close together and colors blending in. So I figured fuck it I'll try to just redo it with knowledge from my head.

Then I realized I haven't done enough observation to have such knowledge I've never really tried drawing a living room type area with people. No clue about the values or color. Realized I'm over my head entirely. I like the back, The color and values in the front just feel off no matter what and the carpet after changing the color bugs me. Can't use the reference because I turned off the lamp in my head when drawing it in, and removed the lighting from behind the camera. It was normally a well lit room. Might have to just change it back.

I guess that's a good thing though also because it makes me want to do studies from life. Because I kind of see how far off I am with what I know and what I think I know.


But what I've been dinking around with color wise (sketch I was messing around with taking friends from a party and changing them into random things, whatever came to mind. "oh I don't know this guy over here, fuck it I'll make it iron man) . Stopped towards bottom right.

Want to try to enter a CHOW. So started doodling a rough character. Then started filling in the environment, then don't know if the environment even fits (obviously would fix lighting and such) and might need to redraw the character again lol.

Not much to show, basically just been dicking around with CHOW to at least keep doodling something.

Then been working on the iphone game with more spriting but I'm not posting those online anymore.


The past two Chows I started strong in what I thought I had but the under drawings were really flawed so they turned out a bit crappy. Kept seeing stuff like "Oh well over here is wrong, damn it. redraw it. Fuck now over there is wrong. redraw it. Wrong over there now... Graaaaah"

Doodling. WIP. Since the hair is abstractish think I'm going to add on to it after. Either with Black and white notanish silhouettes or more standard drawing.

Haven't been drawing much except for sprites. Which I can't really show since it's for a game that will hopefully one day be released.



Been doodling here and there but nothing too interesting.
I wanna just add this to the archive. It's simple and quick but I like it.

Might as well be Akuma, or Zod from Berserk.




Might work on this later. Has potential despite some blatant errors that are hitting me. The originals pretty big so can work a bit closer and then scale down properly.

I love all the different styles in here one of my favorite is #310 the
b&w sketch,.......love it.

# 309 the last 2 are great too, I like the guy in the snowy forest,
and the women who jumps around. I really like this program you use
for sketching.
