Hey that's really nice.
I like the unique design on her.
But I think you missed the fins
Really nice, I will certainly come back here.
Good start! I like it
But I think left shoulder longer that it should
And sure enough people expect the marmaid has a flipper![]()
Lovely design. It's a break from the average mermaid character design. Though, her upper body is unbalanced with her lower body. There's alot going on the upper body (the octopus head, krab claws, webbed arms, ect) but, her lower body looks too normal compared to the rest of her body.
I'm not sure about the foreshortening on her legs. They feel very dwarf-like to me
Thank you for your observations. She's not an average mermaid, I just named this caracter for the marine members. This picture is rather an experiment than a traditional work.
I started to paint the picture but I haven't finished yet. I'm working on it.

dont know if its just me, but i would like to see her legs be more longer. doesnt seem proportional to her body even if it is foreshortened. or maybe she's just a small gal. love the head and the over all design though.
I used a photo reference for this picture. Her legs are shorter
Thanks.
