This may sound dumb but could you explain a little about how you did this?

Like how did you map out your design or did you go straight to it. I would be very interested in to having some insight into the process.

    method

    Well,

i don't work with a plan or drawing to start with.
The method i use is the direct way.
This sculpture started out as a head of a person with a big nose. one day the stone fell on his side and i recognised
in the nos a back-fin of a fish, so i worked that out.

when you don't have a fix plan the sculpture "grows" and
slowly takes it shape when you
work on it. this is more fun

this one was done all by hand ( no pneumatic hisel) I started it
ten years ago , but only recently finished it.

sculpting is really fun. it's fysical & creative

    greetz,

    wimpos

Damn, I just saw this one too. I really dig your style wimpos. Most sculpture I've always seen is either really heavy handed, or I can't make sense of it. I have lots of respect for artists that can spread around that good feeling of theirs through their artwork :p
