Tournament of the Forge

Well, we all are good artists. I have seen it when I wander around. But one thing I have noticed. Weapons are used as background, instead of being something to go oooooh at. So, with that said, I have decided to start the Tournament of the Forge. What this is, is all contestants, instead of making a character, will be making a weapon of sorts. It can be anything that causes pain and death, from swords and guns, to rocket launchers to spears. So, if you have a weapon, or an idea, draw it up and post it on here. The voting will be done by your fellow artists, and the winner, I dont have money, so this is a test of skill and fun. But then again, you can put it on your resume and ill put in a good word for you.

RULES:
It must be a weapon only. It can be a collage showing what the weapon can do, or multiple pictures of said weapon, but it must be of just that weapon

No rudeness. This is a staple here in the forums I believe, so it should require no comment.

No trolling. I don't want to see one person making 50 billion comments on one weapon because he likes it.

The weapon can be made from anything, from models, drawing, photoshop, even vectors.

Use your imagination. Dont just copy a weapon from somewhere and say its yours.

Have fun. This is a game, not a job.

Also, I will be competing in this, for weapons are my strongpoint, and ive always wanted to test my skills up against the best.

The chaos flail. A weapon made from solid steel and iron. The wielder has allowed this to rust in order to give it a vibrant red hue, while the chains inside emit an odd sound of metal clanging together, in order to bring a source of fear onto the battlefield. The handle was once wrapped in a nice cloth, but many years of use have started to wear on the handle.

The Agony of the 4 Kings.
A Giant 2 handed mace possessed with the souls of 4 grand kings. The head is carved with each of the kings faces. This mace would grant an enormous amount of power upon its wielder. When swung you can hear the screams of the dead kings as it rips through the air.

@ raverrunner: maybe this tournament could come up every week with a focus on a spezial sort of weapon.. like the cow-activity. would be pretty awesome
so, what do you think if we start the tournament with a selfmade drawing or painting for the title to make it more asthetic. i think that then the topic would get more entrys.

Good point, I shall start the new thread, with a single weapon theme. I think this would be fun. Thanks for the advice!
