Waylon photos update: New photos, December 12

Hey everyone. This is my first new photo post in about a year... (I've been shooting the whole time, I just haven't cleaned up and posted anything.)

I tried to focus on three things with this image set (as the subject says)

- Bold color. I'm practicing lots of new tricks for making colors more vibrant.
- Solid composition. (Ok, this has been a focus all along.)
- Interesting subject matter. With all of these, I asked myself, "will anyone care?" (So easy to make a photo that's got good composition, values, colors, but nothing interesting going on!)

Please let me know how well you think I've fared against these goals, or if there's something else I need to focus on.

well you certainly are hitting your goals I'd say...really nice stuff. Hey if you can make dead animals look good...you know you're doing something right
I think there are a couple on your site that are better than the ones you have here but these are certainly strong pieces IMHO...looking forward for more

1: lol eazy.... I like the colors, but kinda wish there was a different angle for it or something.

2: Really nice abstract in this one. I think it would work really well cropped into a diptych setup.

Some very nice shots! I particularly like 4 (jelly fish), 6 (road through the hills) makes me want to get up and go! 8 (tumbleweeds) just a really nice bit of nature captured in action. 7 (out of the second batch - cove) has some beautiful colors to it.
