First Post - A little Character Design Sketch

Hi. My first post on ConceptArt; is fittingly a sketch, I sketch alot... ok, Almost all I do, being unable to afford fancy PS programs and tablets, or even a decent scanner. So I sketch.

This is a 32 minute sketch I did for a friend during Dr. Phil; obviously I was bored. It's of her character, Cayne. It's incomplete, but it's the most recent thing I've done, being sketched as of yesterday.

I need to add his eyes. Eyes are always a pain. That's supposed to be a lantern behind him. I fail at backgrounds.

And the first of many, many assaults on your eyeballs by my poor artwork. I hope you're insured.

I recommend that you sketch the entire figure.. also you may want to clean up the linework a bit.

I agree with softocean. It's hard to critique much at this point because it's still so raw.
