I absolutely love it. The way you handle your linework is very refreshing. Keep the posts coming, I'll be checking back![]()

Love the linework on those first couple of pieces, very nice indeed. It has a quirkiness to it that brings to mind a couple of children's books illustrators, whose names escape me, but who had that same slightly wobbly line quality. Great work!
yosul_gongju- thanks for the comment! nice name too haha
zephyri- thanks man, i think i might know who you're talking about and i can't remember the name either haha
i've been getting a lot of homework lately..which has kind of shat on my attempt to get back into sketching more![]()
stuff i have been doing now
i have been trying to work on my anatomy(formal) as it is kind of sucky
been doing pages of quick bodies and hands and such, i will try posting them
it would be great if you guys had tips on that subject

ah man I get so happy sometimes. These sketches makes me so happy.![]()
Some of them looks a bit like them old metalwinds drawings.
I was just about to quit my little drawing session for this evening, however now I'm stuck for at least an other hour.
I remember your old thread, you've developed lots, congrats.![]()
cheers
tiger
Tigermilk- wow thanks, i'm super happy that they made you happy and draw a little bit longerhaha yes i remember those as well..
actually i found some of them OLDER ones (year and a half?) and it was revolting, i thought they were cool at the time....here they are just for reference haha![]()

Nice stuff, I enjoy your sketchbook pages a lot. I like to see random thoughts put down visually. I'm the same way. That 3 page wide cityscape sketch is insane... It seems like it could have got so confusing, but you still pulled it to a point where it reads well.
I'd like to see a more finished self portrait from you though. The ones you posted were like teasers, makes me wanna see what you would do with more time.
Just have fun.

you have some great work going here, I love how dynamic your poses are
there are some atonomy issues with mainly feet, but what the hell! i love it how u make those scratchy lines without losing detail! go on like this, its very inspiringafter looking at this i really had to force myself to go sleeping instead of drawing hehe...
and funny to see your into crusaders, i made some sketches out of them yesterday^^

ajvenema- yea i do them way to small sometimes without thinking sometimes it works, most of the time it doesn't.. gotta practice! super dope that these inspire someone!

Dayum, killer style dadu!![]()
Wow, those "Charcoal things" up top were very interesting. It looks as if you used some water at the end to run the charcoal. Very fun to look at.
Divorce- hey thanks man!
Donovan V- yea, i wet the paper before i start drawing with a spray bottle and then start drawing...i spray more water if i need to erase and i also can get a variety of different effects...its pretty fun and it goes pretty quickly

Ahh I love the pieces you posted from the 7th of your girlfriend and her wire project. The charcoal looks like ink on a few of them, I really like how you handled both the medium and the composition.

Yosul_gongju- hey thanks for dropping by again! and thanks yea i really like the things you can do with wet charcoal

Good lines, fine shading, and a willingness to experiment, nice stuff. I like the red line sps the best. That's pretty damn good for your first oil painting. One thing you might try is pushing the color more, as it's fairly muted. But it's working as is, so only if you want to.

Damn, that portrait is good man. I can't wait to see it finnished!![]()
I somehow agree with Blue Severin regarding the colors though, I suppose those high lights could be more strong. However, I also suppose it's barely half finnished still, and it looks really good, love the lips.
Sketches looking radical too, love the last couple!!
Keep it up, I'm subscribing to this one.

I like that shading style you've got; It seems everybody is able to do it but me =(
Keep pounding away at this, you'll get better in no time
Blue Severin- hey thanks for the crit! yea i know what you mean and i'm on it!
thats the next step
Tigermilk- Hey thanks for the subscription!
drd- Hey thanks man, and what do you mean except you? i looked at your stuff and your rendering style is perfectly fine, i would stick with it!

invinciblewombat- Hey thanks, i'll try
I'm hoping to get a tablet soon so i've been been trying out digi painting
scanned in a drawing (some of it was already rendered as well, didn't do this from scratch) and tried to get the values right and find the right colors
I did this with my touch pad so go easy!
i was also wondering which tablet would be the best to buy for beginners
