Indeed, good to hear from you again. Hadn't seen your usual influx of funny videos/pictures on Facebook lately ;P

You know, it seems the world is full of people who will cheerfully take advantage of anyone that's too good-natured. Also, they're usually the kind of people who only talk to you when they want something from you. They'll act like your best friend til they get whatever it is they want out of you, and then they'll disappear for weeks or months and you won't hear a word from them (until they need/want something from you again.)

I always enjoy those time-lapse videos of your sculpting process. Though I kind of envy the massive amount of sketch work you do. Most of my sculpts originate as little more than a scribble on the back of an envelope, so usually I sort of make it all up as I go along. I see a couple interesting sculptures in the background there also, would love a closer look at those.

I couldn't agree more with you.. You know, there should be a law against people who have got big egos and think too much of themselves: they just think of themselves as more important than anyone else! I'm so glad that we're now free from them. I can't imagine how life would be if we were still doing work with them! Yuk! lol

And bless you! I enjoy documenting the whole process of making a sculpt, and then looking through the images after each take, I get a real buzz out of it and it certainly shows every little mistake that you make as well. It's true what they say, 'The camera never lies!' I wish it would sometimes lol

In regards to the sketching, I love sketching so much! It's something I should defo start getting back into again. There have been times when I haven't been able to stop!

And I really must apologise dear Savage.. I can't seem to remember what your real name is and I am very embaressed! I hope you can forgive me! Could you please private message me? I left facebook in late September, took everything down. I even took my own website down as I no longer want to promote myself. But I want to keep my work on here and youtube as well because it's educational.. or least I want it to be educational and fun for anyone who finds it that way. The main reason for taking my work down though is because I want to go my own way from now on and not show the world all my private work.

And I have been sculpting most of my life but I never really showed anyone until I was about 20 years old (1996) I do wish that I did take sculpture as a course but I always concentrated on Illustration first. Now though, I like to work in both dimensions! So, mostly, it's been a case of trial and error. But, however in the age of the internet I get to learn from others in forums such as these, be inspired by something new just by looking through these wonderful sites!

Good to see you back my man! As always you are a true inspiration & as soon as ive finished typing this i'll be getting off my arse & back into my art room!
I once toyed with the idea of doing a time lapse video myself but decided against it when i accepted that even when sped up the film would still be about a week long & probably consist of me just smoking roll ups & looking at the sculpt for 90% of it!

You know I am truly flattered that you see me as inspiration as you inspire me greatly, and think your work is amazing! So thank you mate, truly appreciated!

And yeah sometimes it can be a bit of a pain having to set up the camera so that's why i don't do it for every sculpt that I make, but it is worth it in the end lol There are some moments when i'm doing something else and the camera continues to click away but the good thing is I edit those crap parts out. Or sometimes even the camera goes out of focus and I think, 'Oh no!!!! that was a cool part!!!' So yeah lol I get what you mean!

As for choosing a name, there is a section on CA somewhere where you get to change your username! I had mine changed a few years ago as I was once called, 'Dreamers Eye' which was really poo, but they did it more or less straight away!

Anyway bro, it would be so cool to meet you one day and I'd love a tour of your workshop, that would make my day

I always was fascinated by Nosferatu and all versions of it succeeding over decades.
I was impressed by the comic too, that reminds me 30 days of night comic ( alittle bit).
I loved also clothes and leather you put on it, this gives more even more gothic look to him.

I just browsed through your thread, all 25 pages of it, and even though it has been said countless of times before, I just have to say: wow. This thread is so full of inspiration and creativity that I am completely blown away. I have learnt so much from it, even though I just spent half an hour looking through the pictures and reading the odd comment here and there.

I am an amateur when it comes to sculpting and even though I make pretty good armatures I always seem to fail when it comes to fastening the darn thing to a base. You have now given me a few ideas that I most definitely will try out. I just have to finish this darn horse, which at the moment, has no base at all After that there will be dragons! Hm, no dragon smiley? Drats! This will have to do instead:
