Whoa. Great attention to detail. What medium did you use?
All these were done with a variety of different mediums. I guess they would fall under mixed media. The first one is mostly oil on canvas, but I also used spray paint, marker, and gesso. The second portrait was done on a masonite drawing board. I covered it in gesso then painted some areas with oil paint. I then cut peices of mylar and drew on them (my face and the pill bottles). I also used press type (rub on letters) and sharpie on this peice. The colored pill bottles were cut out of amber colored transparent sheets used to make photo safe lights. The third one is just pencil, gesso, and press type. The final peice is also on masonite. I covered this one in gesso, then painted over it with oils. I also used pencil and press type in this one.
Woow, great! I absolutely like this style.
The first one looks best to me. Have you been working from a mirror or a photo?
Edit: aaw, i forgot to say that you should open up a sketchbook here in the right thread. Or/And show more of what you have, it looks very interesting.
the first one is from a mirror, the second and third were from a photograph, and the last one was also from a mirror.
awesome stuff, would love to see some more
These are really quite good. They have a watercolor quality to them that I like.
Good drawing skills. Keep posting.

Thank you all for the nice comments. I posted some more work in the FINE ARTS, STUDIES, & DISCOVERY thread, if you would like to see more.
Where are you going to school? Is concept art your career goal? Have you ever tried to paint yourself smiling? Have you looked at Max the Mutt's website, www.maxthemutt.com? I think you show great promise.
I'm actually attending MIAD (Milwuakee Institute of Art and Design). I'm graduating high school in December and I start second semester in January. I don't know what I'm going to get into yet...maybe integrated studio arts.
