Here y'go. I changed the image size in PShop to 600x661.

I like the concept but everything looks like it's on the same plane. Hard to distinguish space between background, middleground and foreground. Everything is rendered equally.
I think maybe the guy w/his back to us could be a bit closer to the camera. I'm not sure if I like the idea of cropping off both characters in the image plane, I think you could put more of the guy on the right in there, like he's leaning over a bit more.
I desaturated and blurred the background (except the guy in water's face)a bit to see if I could separate the planes more. Also the foreground guy made bigger, darker and a bit more saturated.
