That camera made your works no justice! Sweet to see you got hold of a scanner mate.

I think you need to think abit on your lightning. Your shading looks pretty good, but it doesn't explain that much about the shapes. It looks like you're starting to set lightsources and make shadows accordingly, but I think you can push it even further.

Also, think about "cutting" lines. Overlaying shapes in lineart. I'm not sure how to explain this due to my crappy english, but you could look at some comic book inks. Think about the parts that's closest to the viewer and how professionals show it with only lineweight and putting lines on top of eachother. (ask me and I'll get some examples)

Sweet characters, love the dickmonster things

Can't seem to find any great examples right now, I'm not fit for googling at this moment :/

Howev. tried to show what I meant in an old michelangelo sketch. Notice how he places parts closer to the viewer on top on things further away, and how the lines are "cutting". I'm fairly sure it's called overlapping or overlaying shapes in english but yeah. I think you get the point.

As for now you seem to be doing this, letting some lines be on top of others. But you need to be more consequent while doing this. It's not needed on every picture drawn, but it's necessary to know how it works.

Apologizes for not making myself clear even when posting again, I'm ill for the moment.

Damn didn't thought that i still have this issue. Two Artteachers explained me the same with the "cutting_lines" to make things more spatial. (dunno if its the right word) Big THX for u, i try to consider this next time! I hope i get it in this WIP:

From school, without ref, the original is bigger, i hope i am patience enough to draw the knight who gets attacked by the ork.

The hardest Part at the orkpic was the dog. I've never drawn a dog! ... maybe long time ago...

    He should stay in contrapposto...

Thanks for stopping by my sketchbook. Cool work you got going on here. Your figure stuff looks pretty solid; hands a feet could use some additional work and occasionally there are some proportion issues, but good stuff in general. Your imaginative work is crazy, especially in post #6 and the ass bug in #4. Some proportion issues in your human characters but that's about it. Thanks for sharing and keep posting.

I agree with AphexTweak that you need to watch your proportions on your hands and limbs. It seems as though you are stretching them out a bit and shrinking the size of the hands. Good work on the rest and a lot of nice work on positioning...keep up the good work.

hey, thanks for posting in my sb. i appreciated your comment.

as i said in the PM some days ago i like your stuff. but the problem is i cant give much critique cause your level is lengths above mine.

i liked the quality of this pic a lot, personally i like it best from all others… so it would be cool if you could make your other pics look more finished as most pics arent rendered or look rendered very rushed (but probably these are studies which im talking about and you can forget the thing about the "finshed look").

keep on posting them and dont be like me dont showing my stuff for weeks

hey, theres steady improvement here. keep at it. i'd definitely be watching your proportions, esp on the newest image you posted. there's a lot to be said for exaggeration, but you have to make sure it maintains the ability to function.

    Hey,
Weiter so!

    LG,

Awesome work dude. If possible try to be more analytical in your studies, it seems as if you should pay more attention in what they teach rather than in making a beautiful drawing.
