Took a look at ur pics im no expert at human potraits but I can say that you need to work on ur anatomy course the peeps all have disproportional heads and if your planning on doing character stuff that is a core foundation like the elf or demon chick her left shoulder is like its not there so what i suggest is doing more observational drawing we all have to start something to get somewhere hope that was helpful
I am getting back into drawing, the last time I posted on my sketchbook was 2007. So I'll throw a few more recent stuff up.
The Green Dagarog is one of the most feared demons in the northern depths of the world. It's glaze brings fear to the toughest of warriors. The demons jaw is huge and has an enormous 2000kg downwards crush, it's prey whilst clenched has no chance of escape. The northern tribes have developed an understanding to carmoflauge themselves in natural substances such as dirt and grass this way the demons scent is fooled and can't identify their location. The vines that flow from the demon is the demons way to breath like a humans nose. The long vines extend to almost 2meters and as the demon has so many of these vines he can smell it's prey from great distances. Some believe it can smell for many miles of distance. The demons glaze is used like nightvision and in the night picks up body heat of any creature or person. It's glaze doesn't have the same effect in the daylight.

Dream Guardian - not finished yet for this weeks COW
Keep up this sketch book. Sketch every single day. I'd say go to a public places and draw figures. Do gestural sketches. Everybody has trouble with anatomy at first. I commend you for posting on here because a lot of new artists get intimidated by CA but we're all a family here trying to help!
Thanks. I am taking life drawing classes at the moment hoping that's going to help. Second week in. Can't really do my own figure drawings, even know I'm tempted to try sometimes. Anatomy is a big problem for me at the moment. Going to practice.
