I liked your style!
HerrleerzeichenS: ah i get it now. funny you mention those! i should do that more... thanks!
gas chamber: thanks!
and some more life drawing pages from my sketchbook. The very unclear ones are about movement
heres another one, with some woodcarving stuff. its made out of 2 layers, one with the white lines, and the background, and one with the colored lines.
Very much fun to do, can recommend it to everybody
here are some more sketchbook pages! looks like i kinda like the movement thing...
yo, you still have such awesome lines in those last posts, tell me, what kind of pen do you use for lines when you watercolor a little, the water absorbs the ink and i would love to try this results, keep on posting man, dig your work
s i m o n
yo bouroune, thanks again! i just use a cheap fineliner, they sell it here at a store called hema...next time i can place a picture of it if u want, but i think basically any crappy fineliner will do!
here are some more of my woodcarving results, the one with the snow isnt finished yet!
i wonder how you see my sketchbook, are the images too big or is it just my pc that doesnt fit them very well?
here are some more sketches!
quick update! hurry hurry, im gone, bye, see you soon!
Dstrax+Mischeviouslittleelf: thanks for commenting guys!
ur totally right about thinking about the lines, however, its hard to take that time when trying to capture movement however, i know in my regular sketches i dont take my time as well, and its good that you reminded me!
here are 2 more movement sketches, from people talking in front of class, was nice to be sure they would be there for at least 5/10 mins, got a lot of time to observe, wait and pick my lines more precise...
dstrax: im glad u diiiiiiiig them
not sure though which part of my work u call painting? as far as i remember i posted just those pen sketches about the detail, u could be right, i need more patience!every evening i go to bed with the idea to finish that thing tomorrow, and then when i wake up, i totally dont feel like finishing. always the same!
here are some new, including a(not really finished) painting
trying to find out new ways to paint the human body... those first 2 are little bigger as a2
painting in pretty early stage.
size somewhere between a2 and a1. im not sure where to take it yet, lets see what i think about it tomorrow!
thanks man it mens alot!!! and its koming mor shit sone=) and is it grafcks you doing? or is it whoter colurs? an it locks nice kipp rocking !!!
Interesting work...I love your linework and the liveliness/motion it gives. These studies each seem to have a life of their own, very nice!
I have to apologize, you asked a question in my sb a looooooooooong time ago and I never responded. I was just going through it today and caught it...you wanted to know how i got crisp lines and what kind of materials i use. I draw on bristol board, bleedless paper with either a nib and some india ink or with pen. The nib i usually use after doing pencil work but I often sketch with a felt tip pen. Take it easy!
hey again, I ment pen doodles^^ just a bit tired after lots of commenting
now that you have posted some paitings and from what i've seen it looks like you are very impatient. so you realy need to slow things down! try to do some anatomy studies or something
Thank you for stopping by my sketchbook.
I like your wondering line, it seems like you are getting to the essence of things.
Your paintings remind me of Egon Schiele.
I would be interested in looking at what you do with other media.
sevarenge: thanks, i use mostly watercolor for colors, but the ones i posted a lot of times are woodcarving things, with some special inks...
HerrleerzeichenS: thanks dude!
silvestri99: haha, i forgot about that, must have been quie a while ago! ill check it out soon, thanks
DStraX: thank you for the comment again, and for reminding me of my inpatience again
hamsta: thats a bit compliment! ill try to upload some different stuff...i find it always hard to get into different media...
almost forgot the actual update
some more skin sstudies, and random shit

new stuff: a small update on the painting.(dunno what to do with it now...)
and life sketches
heres another update on the painting. it felt like i did a lot after last update, but mainly small things. Dunno what to do with the structure with the bars in the foreground. maybe just take it out?
here is some new stuff. all from life, trying to bring back the things i learned from the fast movement drawings to not movement drawings. so trying to place every line once, not too much lines, trying to think a bit more about where to place those lines now. hope this can take me to another level in the long run! i feel like im improving a little bit at the moment!
another update! i worked on the painting again, mainly the figure...feel like the head isnt really what it should be! its a pain in the ass to paint a face on like 3 by 4 centimeters
others are some lifedrawings i colored. one REALLY didnt work out, with the other 2 im kinda satisfied
thank you oceania, good to hear that some people like it!
tonight i felt like doing small painting studies to get to know my paint a little more. thought, mmm, an apple why not, should be pretty easy! my goals were, paint a tasty apple with as few as possible brushstrokes
in the end of the story it wasnt that easy and tasty
kinda hard actually. learned a lot though, starting with a lesson in being humble. kudos to all the people that can paint apples
guess ill be back to this apple tomorrow, since theres enough space for progress!
ok, so here's another apple. im not sure. its still far from a tasty apple. i think its a bit better as the other one, but the first one had more lively colors.
i should do another one soon i added yesterdays apple as well since it looks different in daylight
your woodcarving prints are awesome! i like the
one with the snow best, keep workin' on it
i messed around with prints in my class a month
or two ago, but with easycut :/
i like your apples! cool style.
keep it up.
