getting started with digital drawing!

ive been too busy to scan and stuff lately

heres a thing im working on, its actually my first payed thing and i didnt really count on getting it

its for a school rstaurant... any hints on making this a bit more fruity? it needs to stay clean, but i think its a bit boring now, and i need more emphasises on the products... any help would be greatly appreciated!

yo man.
inks are crazy expressive. its looking very good. very very good, maybe taking some time before laying down each wackz stroke would give a little more definition. splat, five second pause think, splat, five second pause, splat etc. Reallz digg the camels

more more more!

totally, industrial stoves ovens fryers, everything used to feed people at restaurants. its mad boring hahah.

keep this stuff up man

long time no update, im so bad... now ive got a kind of a big one, but still i made way too few things the past month! next month im on holiday to india, so hopefully a lot of stuff from there next time... in the meantime, feel free to comment on this bunch!

third one is a study after Nathan fowkes btw...learned a lot from it!

just updated and seen your last post this is as soon as i could and thought i should stop by ... and im glad i did ... your water colors are looking awesome make sure you practice a little bit more and try to think twice before making a stroke its really maters

Hey AJ! What a surprise to find not one but two classmates here on CA. Nice to see what you've been up to. I know very well how schoolwork can get in the way of updating. No prob for me though, I get to see it all in person anyways! I'm liking your ink/watercolour works, but it's very strange, sometimes it just works better than others. When it comes 'together' somehow, it's really great! Can't tell you exactly what makes the difference. I guess that's the deal with such a wild style, it's either hit or miss. You're on the 'hit' side more often though, but what do you want with all that practice!

pfff, it has been a busy 6 months... now ive holidays, so more time for conceptart, and i should stick to it this time! here are some school assignments, and some portraits... should do more from imagination now, i learned a lot about that last half year! hopefully, soon a new update

Nice studies, mate. I very much like the raining arrows drawing as well, very graphic. The figures in the foreground are hard to make out though. They might benefit from some difference in colour maybe? Nah, just nitpickin'!

yo yngwie! im glad you like that one, i was really interested in how it would look if you didnt make it yourself

your totally right about the foreground figures, i just splashed them in there, hoping that, by some magical touch, they would look awesome. Guess next time i shouldnt count on that anymore and just draw them

here is some new stuff, mostly with very-non-waterproof-fineliner and water! trying to draw 'movement...right
