    Ahoy there

water mixable oils are the shit man, iv gotten them from the local art store, but they're a little costly, but you can achieve the same wash quality you get with regular oils, they just dry faster if your not using any speeder gels.

    seriously recommended

    Awesome watercolors!

You have good form, just need some time to refine it further.
The Loomis studies (and Bridgman) will help out a lot.

    Keep it going

It seems that you are doing a lot of practicing, which is good. It is something that I need to start doing more often. Anyway, I am giving this advice partly because it is something that I am working on at the moment. When you are drawing people, even if only a head and face, try to start out with the basic shapes first. It may help you get the proportions correct, and in my own drawings I am noticing that it is helping to show more depth too.

*EDIT* Oops, I just realized that I posted my comment after only looking at your first page of drawings. I will check out the other pages too. I can already see a lot of improvement with those life drawings.

some of your ink figure studies are really kick ass. I guess, try taking it to the next step is the only crit I can offer. Try doing a full figure, but keeping all of the shading on one side or something more dramatic. Just a thought.

Looking really good! I like your stuff.

hi thanks for looking at my sb, its amazing to see thevast improvement in your work, i would suggest using a more continuous line in your work especially the pencil and pen work. At the moment they look a little disjointed and a few well placed lines could bring it all together. the watercolours are nice keep it up

fragmentedchimp: thanks a lot man! its good to hear a skilled person like you likes my stuff! last night i did some watercolors at lifedrawing, without pencil line, ill post the results later, but heck, how much harder that is ill try to leave the line away in the future a little bit more, since right now those drawings depend too much on it indeed!

hedwordup: thanks for the compliment, and good u point out some things i can work on, ill keep it in mind.

i just bought a brushpen, i think im gonna have a great time with it but first theres some other stuff i wanna share
