new stuff is nice,i will crit the claw hand on the guitar player though/
keep posting, your new stuff is looking good.
I will tell you the something probly everyone else will tell you. Start some anatomical studies. This could get boring but its necessary. Use the human head a first step. Start drawing the skull in deferent views until you get a near-perfect understanding of its form. Then move on the the underlaying muscles. I think there 3 levels (according to my books). Then the skin, youll see a big difference.
Why not Visit My Sketchbook and share some critique?

Dude, this sketchbook is off to an AWESOME start. It makes me feel like I should be doing more dynamic anatomy studies (which probably goes without saying).
Also, just a head's up - people might give you greif for drawing "anime" style. I'm sure not complaining, but it's more than likely to happen.
Good anime style, but keep an eye on the proportions! You seems to have fun drawing and that is very good!!Also, try to make different faces.I know that the anime or manga style have that problem, all the characters look the same. That´s something that dissapoints me a lot when I read, for example, different mangas from akira toriyama!!!
Keep posting!
Those last figure studies are particularly strong compared with the rest- they are in perspective, they are existing in the same plane.. which is very important for figures. Your on your way... more life studies and the way gets a little shorter, y'know? =) Good luck!

Really nice start! Liking where you are heading with this sketchbook.
Some interesting stuff here.
May I ask you how old you are?
I just started drawing, if you got any spare time, please check it out :] (the link is in my sig)
Anyways, keep it up.
Great!, i like how you do the anatomy, nice movements and very nice fluid lines, nice 3d effect too, keep it up.
Go to www.fineart.sk and study andrew loomis book "figure drawing for all its worth" and see how he does his anatomy, im sure it will help. Also study "succesfull drawing" to learn how to apply light and shade.
Keep it up, Jesus bless you.
Alternative - I'm 15.
Christian - Thanks for the link, his book is very helpful.
Here's two pieces I'm working on, but I'm a bit stuck on where to go with them from here.

This piece was done for my portfolio at school. I'm very happy with the way it came out.

I finally got myself to stop beating around the bush and actually did anatomy studies. I think they turned out pretty good for my first ever.

Coming along nicely man and thanks for stoppin by my thread. There's really only two main things that pop out to me. Just watch your head sizes and remember that there's only space for about two fingers between the bottom of the ribs and the top of the pelvis. Other wise, you've got some great stuff in here and it's developing nicely. Keep it comin!
I wonder if the lack of comments has anything to do with my complete lack of posting?...Nah.
SB - Thanks, I knew something was wrong with the ribs, but I wasn't sure what. It really helps!
