Do you know anything of such a plug-in for Adobe Photoshop?

    Hy there!

I am interested if you know of any plug-in (prefferably free) that starting from a simple graphic (a circle for example) it can turn it into an ornament or into an element that can be turned into an ornament.
You can do this by hand, but that would be a tedious process.
I know there are a lot of such filters out there made by individuals (and most of them are free).
I know this because I have found some, like diamonds and pizza slice and mirror.
These can be found here :
    http://www.btinternet.com/~cateran/simple/
But maybe you know of more...
Something that will make concentric designs, caleidoscope, repeating tiles, slice and stitch in reverse order and so on.You can take for example the curliques plug-in from Painter to know what I mean.
    Thank you in advance!

    Best regards!

I'd love to help, but maybe you can explain Ornament or Element a lil more? My photoshop lingo is sub par. And I haven't used Painter so maybe some pictures of what you're trying for.

I'd really like to help with your problem and give more advice than the guy above me (kinda an ass response imo) but again I'm not quite sure what you're asking.

    Nice of you!Thank you!
I was thinking I will not get a response to this thread...
I canot present a sample because I don't have painter installed.
But I will give you a very simplistic example :
    - think of a circle on a transparent layer, a black circle with some 50 px width
    - now I run the plugin
    - and it is slicing the circle on the diagonals
    - the it rearranges the four slices in reverse order, concentric
    - you will end up with a simple flower with 4 round petals
    - from here on only your imagination is the limit
    - you can reslice that flower again on other axes and obtain an aven more complex element or use it as it is in combination with other elements (layers, styles added and so on)
That kind of plugin I am looking for...
The diamonds and pizza slice and mirror from the link above are doing what I have already explained but are slicing only on diagonals and no more than 4 or quadruples of 4 slices.I was looking for something more complex or just different...

What curliques from painter was able to do is to turn the same circle into a nice flower after running the plug-in a few times. And there is also kaleidoscope wich also slices the base image, but its results are much to impredictible.
Thank you again for your help!

What a silly comment. I guess if it was up to you we'd all still working with an Iwata HP-C and masking film.

I wish I could help, but that's well above and beyond my capabilities and I haven't seen a way of doing what you're saying without doing it the long way. Sorry I couldn't be of more help, but I'll do some digging on the interwebs :-D

You wouldn't believe what female designers in the 'digital scrapbooking' world are doing......the majority of these women are SAHM's who have enough time to trawl the internet and press lots of buttons.....they have lots of filters to do some VERY cool things....try atomiccupcake for one!! but if you put a search for digital scrapbooking tuts it might come up with something you're loking for!!?!
