This is a piece I created a while back for CGtalk's Journey Begins competition. It was painted in PS after numerous pencil sketches to get the scene laid out properly. My ambition was to create a realistic fantastical scene reminiscent of Peter Pan or Chronicles of Narnia. Hope you enjoy -thePoet

Fantastic. The rising books is a great touch. I liked that the children are being further propelled into fantasy by the air balloons. I believed you achieved your theme, sir. Great light sources.
