Just another Warhammer 40K-inspired warrior from my head.

coincidentally just saw this on devart.
Very Khornate I must say, well captured. I like the creepy leg armor and the world eaters shoulderpad.
As a crit I would say the head is a tad small and sunken into the armor.
And from a designing point of view: those tubes connected to the skull on the saw-axe would be severed by the slightest clash of weaponry me thinks.

I see your point about the head, I guess I can move it up slightly. In regard to the axe-tubes, I've always seen this type of detail on the Warhammer 40K miniatures and such, and have thought the exact same thing... I guess it was just stuck in my subconscious. I'll probably cover it up partially under some plating or something rather or readjust it. Thanks again!

Very cool. I like all the details, and I think it's a cool design.

Not the strongest pose though I think. You could almost think that his right leg didn't have a thigh, and I think there is a problem with the foreshortening on his right arm as well.

With that being said, I still think it is a very cool picture. Keep it up.

I hear ya about the pose... sometimes I fail to properly review my initial sketch (or get good crits when I posted it, for that matter, LOL) and quickly jump into the digital painting. The arm I'm I kinda see, but the leg I definitely wanted to change late into the game, which really wouldn't be too hard I guess if I was clever about it. But I'm kinda burned out already with this guy and want to move on to the next project...

Wow man, You really have a great sence of warhammer design, you made this guy very unique. Are you going to do a Nurgle design as well? That will be epic.

I am a bit afraid that your Tzeench isn't going to be able to top this to be honest man. This just holds so many cool design choices.

Hey, thanks for the kind words! Yeah, I'll eventually do a Nurgle design... that's the last Chaos Champion so I'm going to try and go out of town with that and make it all sorts of crazy, LOL.

LOL, it's cool, everyone's got different tastes. Thanks again for the comments, they are very encouraging.
