wow. I really like this piece.
You're very talented!
I think the soft colours were a wonderful choice.
Awesomely weird![]()
If I were to offer a suggestion, it would be to slightly accentuate the eye on the head ballon-thing. LIke maybe a slightly brighter highlight on it or something...to make it seem alive as well.

Egil! Look who's here?
LOVE the colours! one of the best colour schemes I've ever seen you done, even though it's quite transparent
i love hhow you're always so innovative with your art, too
Hey thats pretty cool, can I ask you how you got that grainy like look to it with regular PS brush? is it a filter or just the texture/pencil from the paper? I'm not just talking about on the balloon and alien rider but the grainy texture seems to be on the whole picture. Is it possible you can post just the pencil drawing?
i really like the transparent feel, nice and soft looks like watercolor. well done
ever try changing the color of the lines first before painting?
just a thought
slainte!
Wow... Very EUROPEAN ( in the good meaning of this word - no tights superheroes, no playboy girls as reference etc.)![]()
n.contemporary: thank you. glad you liked
Cthogua: thanks for the advice. The scary thing is that I didn't make it as an open eye! It is actually meant to be closed, but the way I use the pencil obviously invite more shapes that I imagined! My eyes are open nowdrawing with subconsciousness is fun
Kayness! as I sometimes say, this Internet thing is pretty smallthank you soo much. your comments means like all of it to me
Mr-Joe: glad you liked the texture effect. I partly hate it, partly love it. It's not really a brush, nor a over-layered texture. It is more of a result of the bad scan of a rough paper, colouring, and sharpening in the end. Some of that effect can be achieved using photoshop filters "brushstrokes" with a minimal intensity. But you won't really get the same effect.
Flipnastywebby: thank you. wish I was this good in watercoloursYes, I've been experimenting a bit with coloring the lines first. These lines are more green than black. But I find right colours for the lines when I already use that many colours to part the elements in the drawing.
TheNightPainterhehe thanks alot. It's great to hear that. If it means something to you, I made the first sketch of this in a moleskine
love your comments
You're very talented yourself
This is an interesting piece.
