Three Little Pigs

Here is a piece I am almost done with.

Its an acrylic illustration for the Three Little Pigs, the scene in which the wolf falls down the chimney and into the brick house pigs boiling pot of water.

Its not done, I plan on painting the wolf in fully, so maybe tonight or tomorrow it will be done.

I have also laid over a little pen work in the darkest areas.

Definitely a different take on familiar subject matter. I like the use of colors, very bright and worthy of a children's book illustration. The pig looks to be sort of "floating" there. I'm not sure if there is a way to make him more firmly attached to the ground. The wolf in the pot looks a bit unclear. Maybe add a close up? I can't really tell what's going on, the pot looks to have fluff sticking out of it. I'd like to see the finished work!

I plan on painting the wolf in fully today so no worries on that. And as far as him being attached to the ground, I don't really feel its needed for this, because
based on the view of the pig, the viewer would not see the ground.
