there is nothing better than amusing self hate!
i guess its normal to not like your own work, i regularly throw away old sketchbooks or rip out pages.. but there needs to be SOMETHING that gets you going.. only hatehatehate for you?

on the things you´ve posted.. how about making some life drawings?
id love to see you drawing things that are around you.. friends, (dead) flowers or buildings. so far the subject range is kinda teenage angst.

I think this stuff looks pretty cool overall. I particularly like the little pirate girl and the SP.

As far as crits, it kinda looks like you gave up early on some of these pieces, leaving things like the boot on the armored girl, and the bloody-girl's arms unfinished. (This is also something that I do all the time. I almost never finish anything... ) I think all the pieces you posted have a lot of potential, they just need a little more time spent on them.

The bloody girl is well drawn and rendered, but I don't understand why she is bloody, or what she's doing w/ her arms. I think if you're going to go that dark and disturbing w/ the subject, you should try to match that darkness with the mood of the rest of the painting too; using lighting and texture to evoke emotion. I think some of the best horror art makes the environment be just as horrifying as the subject. Maybe grime it up a bit, and make the lighting more vague so the viewer has to guess what's going on. Don't just go for shock value.

Overall tho, I think your work is very good. Keep posting!

Way tooo short arms, the elbow should reach somewhere around the bellybutton.
The hand should reach somwhere at the middle of the thigh.
Here's a very basic tutorial on face proportions.

The breast(s?) should also be a bit more down on the chest.

Read this to get a hang on body proportions, you should also study some photos.
But you got a great drawing technique, that's for sure.

nearly finished it in 1 day. I must try and do quicker sketches but I get obsessed with details. :3

I haven't changed any of the body proportions because you see I had intended the stance and clothing to affect it, I'm not sure it's perfect though and the head position looked a little forced.

Yea, game is pretty obscure, I hardly ever meet anyone that knows about it I'm still working on this one stupid sketch that should have been finished a week ago, need to get better at this stuff... good thing nobody reads this or they'd die of boredom.

I like what you have posted so far,
true, you do need to work on anatomy and proportions,
(everyone does, even the pros need to go back to the basics from time to time)
but I honestly really dig the art that you are making.
These can only get better as you get better!
