HI
I must say that you are one of the best enviro-makers on here. The rawness and unfinished look really help bring the atmosphere you wanted to convey. I wonder though if more polish could benefit some of your stuff? Have you ever tried fully rendering an image? I think it could help you get to the next stage.
You are really good!
really nice sb. espescially the enviroments are delicious.
may I ask you a question... how do you use texture layers? do you multiply em or do you paint over it? or maybe you dont use those layers at all?
Janos> cheers for that, I'm still developing my tecnique of finishing i have seen some progression over the past 8 months of freelancing but i still need a lot more study time.
Farin> i use multiply layers and paint with a soft brush then use soft light layers to add a little atmosphere, all the while flattening and adding more layers until something starts to pop. i keep it greyscale for as long as i can also.
i'l post some character work soon as i havnt in a little while.
also i'm in the process of moving to England!! meetup anyone ?

Nice work! I think you need to work on bringing your paintings to a more finished state though. Spend more time on rendering out the forms and making them more readable. Keep it up![]()
jackpot_anjr90 > thanks for the encouragement dude i'l post some more up to date work in the coming months. I just moved to the UK and everything is up in the air. I visited the UK national portrait gallery today and am very inspired to delve much deeper into my art.
cheers
