Two new black and white sketches.
Two new black and white sketches.
New black and white painting. A character this time. Tried to keep it simple, I don't like the helmet though:/
Du lager jo for det meste environments, right? En liten ting til om han siste er at han har litt korte bein, lykke til!![]()
PieMonster: Du har helt rett. Derfor gjorde jeg som du sa og brukte litt (ok mye) lengre tid. La til en bakgrunn og hele pakken.
Ok, I used some extra time on that last one (quite a drastic change, huh?) Pretty happy about this one, tell me what you think.
Hey man, lookin good - you could push it a lot further though. Get some nice tones on the armour, and some more value variation, this is the problem I have with mine. You have light + medium tones, add a bit more darker tones![]()
those black and white environments are awesome, though I would like to see more contrasts![]()

@corza334: Yeah, I was trying to capture a cloudy atmosphere, so I was too careful about going dark. But you're right, I'll keep it mind next time.
@Hive_minD: Ty, I'll keep that in mind.
Thanks for commenting guys!
So here's two new sketches:
Pretty small update, but here's some sketches. I will do more later...
No ref. except the hand which was my own hand. (gotta do some more ref. stuff soon)
First dinosaur drawing I've done after watching David Krentz's DVD about dinosaur anatomy. Surprisingly enough, I find animal anatomy pretty interesting, at least compared to human anatomy, It's probably because there's more room for mistakes when drawing animalsI sketch a lot of stuff now and then when I'm bored, but don't usually post it here because it's too much work (and this time a had to use a camera, sry for the bad quality:/)
New sketch:
My entry for this week's Teen Challenge (I used ref for the pose, so it was kind of a study too)
so far so good, hit those studies up young manadd to that growing brain of yours, fill it up
Keep It Up Dawg
Nice effort on the studies mate, really. You should try and do more contrast in your stuff, and more pose studies
-E
@aaro_n: Thank you, I will.
@rossipoo: I will!
@Mischeviouslittleelf: Ty, and I agree. Pose studies is someting I really have to do more of.
A failed portrait from mind I did about two weeks ago, three renders after trying out 3DS Max. One sketch in OC (first time trying it out), an attempt at a comic, and in the end a character I did during Easter- None of them really finished :/
Damn boy, you been busy! Glad to see you trying loads of different things. Just keep the studies going mate. They will help you improve! Soooo much

Looking good man, but you need to do more studies, and post moaaar!
Hive_minD, PieMonster: Thanks for supporting me, I really appreciate it.
It's been a long time since last update :/
OC session with Linebo, some pencil stuff and a digital speedpaint.
A new speedpaint:
My entry for this week's teen challenge -The Gladiator. I wanted to work more on it, but did get the time before the deadline...pretty tired of it anyway.
Focused on stroke economy, but still not good enough. From ref. (trying not to copy, but rather getting the gesture down and go from there)
Just found Djalhal's AWESOME rock brushes and I just tested them. Amazing how you can make a mountain scene in 10 sec. The second is just a head from mind.
Update:
haha, been really busy i see! and its paying off!
so just keep on working!![]()
Thank you, good to hear. I will try keep it up.
Keep up the good work really showing signs of improvement.

OmertA: Ty, it's good to hear that I'm improving
Here's my entry for this week's Teen challenge - Selkies. I didn't stick too much to the topic though, and I could've worked more on it.
New one from ref. (ref: http://emptyeasel.com/wp-content/upl...p-lighting.jpg )
