On that last night it looks like You should have started with bigger brushed and really blocked down some firm foundations to the piece before you moved onto smaller brushes. I might be wrogn since im still new to dig but thats what it looks like to me. Anyway cool sketchbook keep it up man.

Also thanks for all the comments on mine sorry I hadn't got round to postin here before.

Knight on horse is looking great. Only thing i see that looks weird is the size of the ribcage area seems too big. I dunno though, there may be horses like that. Looking good!

On the portrait, the face is looking good, but the nose seems to be turned up just a tad bit too much.

On the Mecha, its a little difficult to make out the head, but otherwise its really fantastic.

Dig the new works. I see improvement. Watch the guy's beard - the parts on the shadow side of his face should be in shadow too.

the cherries looks good, nice sense of form though it could use some sharp edges as it seems a little blurry to me, but it could be me, I got bad eye sight

Simplify your values a little - define the light and shadow sides more clearly before you worry about subtle values. Also her skin tone in the light side needs more orange - yours is a little undersaturated. (That's a good change of pace though!) Drawing-wise... her abs need to follow the form more - you'rs look like they're attached to a flat surface - they should have an overall round form as well as their rounded muscular shape. (part of that would be solved simplifying your values) Left breast is a little to big on top - check the angle from the tops of the breasts. Also check the angle on her right arm - you it bending in a little too much before the elbow. Lastly, the angle on her necklaces is too horizontal - it should follow the angle of her neck/clavicle more.

I still reccomend drawing girls from life - that way you learn to draw muscle and skin instead of pixels that have been messed with digitally. At any rate, i see improvement on your new digital compared to previous ones. Keep up the hard work!

Hey nice works and studies in here so far, nice guy on the horse with the crazy helmet! hehe

with the portrait I suggest a good dose of life drawing, but maybe more importantly studying a book of anatomy and the planes of the face

try to find those planes on your own face and be familiar with key points/muscles like the muscle that goes around the mouth, ones that go around the eyes, and that one plane from your cheekbone to the mouth, or whatever... hahaha you know what i mean

study and squint at people in real life! look at basic shapes and planes... just try not to be creepy about it ; )

oh yeah and ps: look at how OTHER artists depict the portrait as well!!

wow, I really love the old man in the turban, he has a great expression. Also, the belt on that last painting is dying to become a knife of some kind. You could easily turn her into a saucy cavewoman of sorts.
