CA's unofficial texture archive UPDATED 30/09

this thread began as my own personal dumping ground for textures, but i've decided to let it become a public thread. feel free to post any interesting textures that you come across, whether they're from photograph's you've taken, or interesting scans, or even textures you created digitally.*

*if you wish to share a texture and it is not your own personal intellectual property, please gain permission to display the image here or hotlink to the site of origin. in any case, try to host it on a reliable image server, as unfortunately the attachment manager (as amazing as it is) doesnt allow for ridiculously large, hi-rez images. hopefully someday this will change with the advent of more storage space in the CA vaults, but until then we shall make do. all textures posted here are intended to be free to use, so do not post images here you would be unwilling for others to use. please PM me if/when you add your own updates so i can edit the thread title.

Serpian: thanks for sharing, mate. if you want to minimize the DL rate of the thread, feel free to spend some time and use thumbnails hotlinked to the full-rez images off-site. i did a custom job, but you can just as soon use something like imageshack.us or some other similar hosting site that allows for thumnails. i figure this is the most efficient way for people to see the textures available, reducing the loading without having to click individual links without any idea whats on the other end. as you can see, i've edited the thread so it can become the "unofficial" CA texture archive. great update, by the way!

Is this thread still alive? It is great having a resource like this. I have taken some textures photos that I would to share as well. They are not in the best angles, but could be useful to anybody. I can add them sometime by tomorrow if that works.

That works great. I'm speaking on Stoph's behalf, of course, but I think this is pretty much an open thread, as long as your textures are COOL enough for the cool texture club. CAN YOU TEXTURE?

Haven't clean textures pic in a while and don't know if correcting the perspective in some of them was for the good or for the worst. Anyways, here's some of mine, it was fun going for texture hunting Hope it can be of use for anyone.
