    -[my sketchbook]-[starting fresh!]-

I'm a lazy artist. I don't know why i haven't felt inspired lately. Hopefully starting a sketchbook will get me back in the swing of things. Thank you for looking, and i hope that you all enjoy. Please feel free to C&C anything. The scanner i had to use was a bit small so it cut some of the art off... i need to either get a bigger scanner or draw on smaller paper, lol.

I think these are pretty interesting designs. Nice textures and use of patterns. The first one's head dress is cool too. I think if you beefed up the structure in these drawings they'd read a little better though.

No, ignore those guys! I think the figures look good without being all huge. Nice designs, and very clean execution. I do think you could use some work on your anatomy, though. The main thing that jumps out at me is the first guy, and his right forearm -- the way it's bending unnaturally. Maybe it's just an oversight -- we all do that sometimes. Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing more -- keep it up.

hey man i was looking at your armor on the first guy and this is why i said to buff him up he's got a primal arch in his back which makes his shoulders look swoll so you should study your anatomy but don't do like me and make everyone like super heros.......... whith 12 packs

Thank you all for the good advice, yeah the first guy could be a little more tougher looking i suppose but i was going for more of a "skinny" look... kinda like me lol. thank you though to everyone for the critiques. i do take them all to heart so thanks.

now for an apology for it taking so long to get back into this. but i do have some recent stuff i can put up and i can put up a few of my favorite older works too so you all can get an idea of whether or not i'm improving and what i need to work on.

Here is a little update for you all:

I got a wacom tablet!! hehe. just testing it out with painter. i did use a photo for reference since i need to work on anatomy and all and i did use it for color reference as well. i'm pretty happy so far with the way it's turning out. just practicing with painter and learning where all the tools and different things can do.

    enjoy,
