Hello all! I'm new to the boards. A friend of a friend told me about this site and all I can say is that I'm fascinated with the amount of creativity and talent that's around this place!

Also good to see it as a place to share, comment, advise, learn from and bond with others and I'm sure I'll benefit from just that.

Since leaving college, I've became a bit of a procrastinate and I've not really became the avid sketcher and drawer I'd like to become, but after some encouragement and having a look round here, I'm ready to broaden my skills and the essentials, so I'll make sure to post more traditional and varied stuff in the future!

Well here goes: (some of the stuff's a bit old so I'll do it in chronological order)

As you can see, I try to work with various styles and techniques. Comments and critiques are encouraged.

2. A fictional anime character I created

3. Another fictional character (unnamed) inspired from some doodles from a college notebook .

4. A stylized pencil/pen portrait of Paul van Dyk

5. stren (a guy from another forum) I drew based on an in joke. (Don't worry, he's not a maniac!)

6. A manga alternative of Kraftwerk drawn using vector tools on Photoshop.

7. Portrait sketch of illusionist/magician Derren Brown (who I'm a infatuated with at the mo :blush

8. Derren's PA, Coops, drawn for a fan.

9./10./11. Some devious pencils drawings of DB.

12. The process of a caricature I did of comedian Jimmy Carr (finished it last week).


Should've broken down some of the attachments into more posts, so apologies for being a bit overwhelming at first.
