    Spawn (WIP)

Something that I'm working on at the moment for my modeling portfolio.
There are some items I have to model... and I have to study lighting and on and on... haha... Just having fun and learning the process of things beyond modeling. =) I'll keep an update here.
Hope you likes what I got for now.

anyone know the website of Nox from Massive black? His Spawn illustration is SICK!

I can't help you with the link, but I think the model looks pretty nice so far. My only crit at this point really is the pose. Its spawn, so I would like to see something either more dynamic, or with just a little more attitude. He doesn't have to be flying through the air or anything, but he's tough, and he knows it. His pose should convey that. It'll make it all a lot more interesting to look at. Focus on strong silhouettes. Otherwise kudos. Just my 2 cents.

yeah I was thinking the same thing. But this is for my modeling portfolio so I want the model in a standard pose. After I complete this I'll put him in crazy poses. =)

'Standard' doesn't have to mean 'static' I'm not necessarily referring to a 'crazy' pose, just something more dynamic...a weight shift, contropasto poses, etc...ala Michaelangelo's David. Its a static pose, but more dynamic and interesting to look at. Check out some master sculpts and you'll see what I mean.

Even though its for a modeling reel, the stuff should be fun to look at.
