    Talking Rabidtooth's SketchPad

    some new works .... got myself open canvas today....nice array of stationary and u can rotate the canvas nice.....plus u can record ur painting process, pretty wicked stuff.....

    that open canvas chick/study is cool, can't see anything wrong with the proportions on her....your line studies are also nice but if you want to get to the point where you can make concepts through this way, you need to remember 2 things.. though.. add more volume to your strokes.. and cut your strokes with positive lines(white/bkgrnd color). that way you see form+volume=concept..
    that's just my maths but it works for me (sometimes)

    dont u mean negative space mehran, but yeah i get ur point.... im trying to break away from my ill habit of drawing like comicbook inking....

    throtailer couldnt get the scans done today , will try today or else ... was reading prometheus's text on his website http://www.itchstudios.com.... it has more knowledge about painting than i had learnt my whole time in an art school
    of course i wasnt learning painting but anyway....

    * got inspired about studying everything so i thought ive never painted leaves b4 so heres a try...

    laterz....

    if i have to make pink bunnies to learn how to paint il paint em...

    Light and material studies in Painter

    Hey everyone , i've really been having a ball with painter and discovering painter AGAIN! hehe, here are some studies i did , want to paint with a lot of strokes? A dumb QUESTION but how many studies do u think one has to paint before u can start to paint without any refs from memory.... cuz i really want to....

    Thanks for you visit. You gave me a shot of inspiration too today! Had to pop into and see what you've been up to lately. You've got some killer line and value work here! and those colour thumbnails will take you a long way... i should to some more of those myself. I did 4 of those thumbs per day, and it took a full day. But at the end of the week you get a pretty nice line up of work to post up here.
