Dude, how did you get so good at drawing like that?
What did use for the drawings ? e.g. pencil, biro ?

flaskpost, neoknocker, cyanid - thx dude!

godfather - i'm flattered. For drawings i just use a normal 2b pencil. Whats a biro though?.....

    And heres a new one.

I truly Enjoy Your Characters Sketches - Dynamic, with a lot of Life Inside, in a little comic style. Love them. And you have great imagination in create other stuff like clothes, weapons, gear... Great works.

Really great efforts going on in here, man. Keep at it! You have some creativity flowing! Just get some of those skills up to par and you'll be kickin it in no time at all! Nice updates. The SP is nice but your right, there's not a lot of structure showing through. Planar studies might help you. Loads of interesting designs. Keep 'em comin'.

yina, zebzfree, chr!z - thx for checking out my stuff and putting in the comments. Gives me a great deal of encouragement.
It seems to me asking for crits or even commments is to much to ask for nowadays. So i'll just be contented if ppl just pop by to take a look at my stuffs
    so heres another 1......

Hey, awesome stuff in here. I like this latest piece, only thing I could suggest is to make the lava a little more defined at the bottom where it is shooting up. I really like it though, great concept

you've got some really good character designs in here, although a lot of what I'm seeing is quite cliche, martial arts outfits, huge swords, young women in power armour, skb25.jpg, skb26.jpg and skb27.jpg are nice little departures from this.

On your latest one, try defining the lower body (of the sword wielding character) a bit better, the light in the creature's eyes would look better if it wasn't a cool yellow, more orange would make it more fiery and lava is usually a lot more orange, maybe add some clouds of highlighted smoke?

    big update

Hi. Too busy with work...as usual...to update my sketchbook. These are what i managed to do...mostly sketches. Some are commercial works.....but of them personal. To thegreypencil....wah lau another singaporean! too few of us in this forum....thx for dropping by lei!

    And so heres the work

    and...yep...more gorillas....a commercial project

    misc paintings

And just something i would like to share with you guys. I recently attended this CG overdrive conference, a 3days worth of talks conducted by professional animators, cg artists etc who have worked on big films and games. And i have the chance to actually attend this talk conducted by Feng Zhu, where he actually gives us insights on being a concept artist and useful advices/tips on getting into this field. Even did a demo of how he did his concept sketches and paintings. Man....was so awed and inspired by him... seeing his work on the monitor and going ''oooh aaah'' is 1 thing... seeing him work...in real life...it just brings my jaw dropping to another level. Too bad we 're not allowed to take photos or videos of his work during the conference....so if u guys come across any chance of attending any of his talks..tho i dont know whether he does tat often....grab the chance!

This is some really cool stuff, I really like your environments, esp the one with the character overlooking the city and the ones with the character in the foreground looking up at the skyline. You should color those, very good perspective too.

Woah, there's a lot of sketches here!

You have some cool poses here, your designs are interesting but a lot of your characters are disproportionate. You should work on that.

Your digital is coming along great btw.
