The hitman I hired to take you out says he's too distracted by your sketching to shoot. He's the guy watching you from the building over the road. They'd better be good, or I'm hiring one with no taste.

Lukavi, Can't believe I never commented here before. Your imagination just amazes me with every new piece. I come and look at your sketchbook every once in a while for an inspiration fix.
Please stop by my new Anatomy Sketchbook and critique the hell out of it.

Johann, dude, I think it's about time for an update. Your match with Dougbot was my personal favorite of the last round, you brought an excellent piece to the table.
good charicres man!!! its lookin real good![]()
damn, another CA.org dude that kicks my asslol you rock man, and keep up the good work! & I dare say that you need to work on the facial anatomy of your characters. Arianne's left eye is too far from the nose I think, or her right eye is to close to the nose. But overall, i think you should work on the facial proportions a bit

Your artwork is very beautiful. Your line work and some of your color schemes bring James Jean to mind, another great line artist. I am struggling to find a way to color my own work, but your work restores my hope and truly inspires me. I enjoyed your Ch.O.W. entry, got my vote.
kick-ass SB lukavi, absolutly stunning work in here.
Love the colors and mood in your pictures.
Cheers
Damn people, thanks for all the responses. Truly touched. It makes me even more guilty because of the lack of updates. The weedy sketchbook lives up to its name. Get me a bush trimmer stat!

Diego, Dano: Thanks, guys, really appreciate that.
Gringoloco: Yeah I see what you mean and now that you mention it, I see it even more. I will definitely look into this problem more. Thanks for pointing that out, man.
Icey: you too!
Worthless, Lietje: Thanks![]()
Strych: Wow, flattered, almost didn’t send the entry because I thought it might fall short of your expectations, haha. Glad to know that’s not the case. Goodluck in the coming round, Cody!
Crazy3dman: Likewise, dude. Yours inspire me as well.
Summer Pudding: OMG is that the same hitman whose been watching me while I undressed? I felt violated. Just a little, then I was over it. Actually…kinda…enjoyed it.
Shyamshriram: Right back at you, sir.
Cthogua: Haha, you saw the little pic. Didn’t mean it to be a cthulhu though. Actually never read the novel but I have under my bed a book of American gothic shorties, and Lovecraft work is in there. Soon I'll read it.
Fatmillenium: Thanks!
BAKI: I'm right here!!! How've you been?
Princeofhappiness, ender: Woot! You both get a cookie. From Christmas of last year.
Clogic: eww stained boxers. Mmm send me a pic?
Codakromek: Hey coda, I don’t mind at all, I’m flattered. It’s blasphemy to compare mortal men to gods. Please fear the lightning bolt, at least for my sake.
Badgah: Hey wanted to let you know that my CHOW entry was inspired by you. Well…your pink stockings. Except I dyed it red.
GunTrouver:Ty dude
Britta: Damage was done unto me! Wahaha. I knew I should have hired some goons to dispose of that dougbot. Talented bastard. Thanks for dropping by britta, keep on doing inspiring stuff. You and your SB buddies.
Craig: Thanks for dropping by man. I agree with you very much. I think it’s the Capricorn in me that makes me get stuck and be wary of change. That or I’m afraid to go into unfamiliar territory. But you guys inspire me and I’ll strive to try out new stuff when I can. Can’t promise I’ll scan it in if it becomes a failed experiment. lol.
CSteingart: Hey buddy, I’m looking to the great stuff I’ll see from you in the future.
Bumskee: Bumskee! I adore your Chow corsair! Give me your powers. Gimme Gimme Gimme!
Inkfish: Thanks Ink, hope you’ve been well.
Vigosuperstar: I’m not your personal Zoloft, Paxil or whatever anti-depressant. I am a living, breathing human being. Please, I at least expect some kind of financial compensation. I only accept cash. Sheesh…. Btw, Damn glad to see your work in chow, vigo.

Hehe,,,,, I just read your reply to me,,,,,,,let god strike me dead where I stand if I didn't mean every word of it.....sweet new update,,,,, great chow,,,,, but I really love the one above it,,,,,,maybe it was just a quickie,, but the colors are more vibrant than you ussually use, and yellow is always so beautiful.......well,, I am a huge fan,, thanks for updating, seeing new things from you makes me so intent to just go draw with a pencil.........I think I will follow your tutorial to the letter and see what I get with a fully worked up pencil drawing...... thanks for the inspiration,,,,,huge fan,, ( leaves the room bowing profusely)

hot damn! I know this has been said before, but I really like the loose Amano style going on here. Although these have a lot more depth than the printmaking process!

The face in the background here is freaking sweet!! perfect expression. If you don't mind me asking, can you give some details away on how you create the background textures for those 8 drawings?
wow, i adore your style lukavi. i would love to see your take on more of the wizard of oz characters, namely glenda the good witch.
your style reminds me of something but i can't quite put my finger on it. you might have mentioned this already, so i am sorry if this is a repeat question. who are your influences, if you have any?

Wow, this is some rad stuff. I read "weedy" as "weekly" and saw your last update was on November 1st, and I was happy.
Then I looked again an died a little on the inside.
!
Wow! There's so much good stuff in here. You've got a real individuality of style in the way you draw and the way you colour. I particularly like the mood in that Dracula pic. I also really like that there's a narrative element to practically everything you do. If I was going to be ultra critical, I'd say work on your poses and the finer points of anatomy a little more. But I'm just nitpicking!
Cant' wait to see more.
Ta, Nick.
