Before i start posting lots of my art, let me just tell you that i lot of my stuff is linework (probally about 99.9% of it) so if anyone has any tips for painting i think that is the next step i am going to take.
    Thanks again

Phoenix, you are a bit overenthusiastic, and a lot underinformed...
Is this your first forum membership?
People don't jump to comment on every post you make.
You may wait hours, or sometimes DAYS for a reply.
You may or may not get a lot of views. That depends on how good your work is.
You should SERIOUSLY slow down, and LOOK around this site. Read, and read some more. Did you read the FAQs yet, as was suggested? If so, good.

Wander around here and look, and READ, and get familiar with where you are. Jumping into this "pool" with a big splash seldom impresses the rest of us. Wade in, get used to the waters, become a bit more familiar with things here. Don't keep splashing around, demanding and begging for attention...things don't flow like that. Here, or just about any other Forum you will ever join.

Keep drawing. Relax. It takes some time, but it will come, if you remain active and attentive...

I can't see a damn thing in your sketchbook, because photobucket sucks, and is having some sort of problem reaching my neck of the woods today (we have very heavy cloud cover, which does affect some sattelite communications...) Check out Imageshack.us, or try using the "Manage Attachments" button at the bottom of the Advanced Reply message box.

Keep drawing, and while you wait for replies, go look at other people's sketchbooks and leave a nice comment. That will acquaint you with other members, and encourage them to leave you a comment.

Hello, and welcome to Conecpt Art.

I just read your thread in the lounge, and I thought I'd come by and check out your sketchbook. Nice start.

However, I do agree with madster. And between you and me, I don't think they like you to post on your sketchbook without a picture. That is, don't comment on your own work. But once or twice shouldn't hurt...

Say, come by my sketchbook! I don't know how to make a link to it, but just look for "Krywell's Sketchbook." If you drop by, then let me know what you think! But you don't have to...

Keep posting, and I'll be back to see what you're up to...

    New and old stuff

Hey everyone just scanned soem stuff in

first off, i did this a while back and i am putting it up becuase at the end of this month it will be published in a comic called 10th Muse as fan art. Some people might not think that is a big deal but for me it is so here it is

Next we have a much better version of the same character above
Sorry for the bad scan i had to ajust the levels so you could actually see it

And finally this i did some time ago and i didnt mean for it look manga-ish but it happened

    Well talk to everyone later

Being published in comic would be quite a big deal to me, too! Congratulations!

    One idea...

Add some shading to your work. It will make it come alive! (and it shows depth...)

    Just my thoughts. Good work!

Hey there. Thank you very much for visiting my sketchbook. My opinion on your drawings are that they have potential. They're not perfect but there's no really need for them to be. I hope that the reason why you draw is just for the love of drawing. I'm studying anatomy a couple of hours a day and I really think that that is time well spent. I suggest that you just keep drawing as much as you can. Look at photography, other artists work, anatomical books, etc. Always remember that other people can give you
advice, you just have to learn to pick the right ones. You can be as good an artist as you want to be. It's just very hard work. I really hope your up to the task. I will certainly keep following your progression.

My guess is you have to work on the picture after uve scanned it in ... they are a good start ... wellcome to CA ... but I guess they propably have a lot more strength in real-life coz a lot gets lots with scanning & such .. try auto-levels or more contrast .. in any image manipulation prog.

    :-)

Hey! It's been awhile since I've been here, and I like those last two posts (especially the winged dude; very neat).

I like the texture that they have. Keep it up!
