I think that more people should throw up on Mel Gibson. His movies are entertaining and all that, but he seems like a putz.

I shook President Ford's hand when I was a kid.

Mark Spindler, ex linebacker for the Detroit Lions. He actually brushed off a bunch of autograph seekers to come and talk to me like I was somebody important. He shook MY hand. Everybody looked at me and said, "who's that?"

Joe Theisman. He's annoying on tv, but he was a very nice guy.

Steve Howe brushed against me on his way to the stage at a concert. He said 'sorry.'

Randy Johnson refused to give me an autograph when I saw him in Montreal last summer. He lost that night. Ha!

    ive never met anyone.

but my brother has met Bruce Campbell a few times and worked with Bill Duke on a documentary (he's the 'I'mgonnahavemesomefunI'mgonnahavemesomefun' guy from predator).

Another brother has helped out on the trading spaces set a few times i think, so he's met all those people. I think he met Chris Tucker too.

My parents used to go to dinner parties with Thomas Huxley, Aduls Huxley's brother. My mom also used to exchange recipes with George Harrison's mom.

man, everyone in my family is more interesting than me.

EDIT - Oh wait, I met Mike Henry, cowriter/cocreator of Family Guy. He was at Arbys and a friend of mine who knew him started up a conversation.

Bruce Springstein. I drew him by accident in new york and didnt even know it was him until someone told me. I even made fun of his big forehead and his coatee to his face!
The weatherman at Good Morning America... I think his name is Tony Perkins.
Al Bundies neighbor in the show married with chidren.... Damnh Im bad with names!
    Joan Rivers,
    Ed Kotch
    Al Sharpton
Ralph Carter (from the 70's show "Good Times" with Jimmy Walker aka Kid Dynomite!)
My Brother went to a summer camp program at cornell university where one of the students in his drama group was Larry Fishburne. My brother came back and said,"you should've met this guy name "fish" at cornell. When ever we did any acting performances he made you believe his character!

Miyazaki, Lasseter, and Brad Bird at Pixar.

Also privileged to have attended workshops by Brom, Donato, Scott Robertson, Bill Plympton....and...Don Bluth (coincidentally somewhere in Emeryville too - w/r Pixar is located, but not at the same time).

Queen Elizabeth II few weeks ago, but probably doesn't count as I was taking pics from a distance.

Did some work on the Matrix sequels-
Met most of the main cast-

Watched Carrie-Ann Moss have a tantrum about shampoo

Lawrence Fishburne sings in a really high falsetto

The 'Keymaster' locked himself out of the door he goes through just before he dies in the film...just as they were calling action. He'd locked the door as a joke but he had so many keys on him he couldn't find the right one again- hilarious.

Was physically moved into position by Larry Wachowski...

Also met Russell Crowe another time and somehow survived without getting beaten up...

    *slaps forehead*

I forgot that I met Brad Bird last year! (though I can't compare to you, Flip. MIYAZAKI?! *dies*)

At any rate, RISD had a screening of The Incredibles and Brad flew in for Q&A, a lecture, autographs, etc. He is an amazing, smart, grounded and wonderful man and he deserves everything he's worked for ^__^

I dropped the ball though - when I was talking to him, I was too flustered to ask him to visit Hasbro for a tour (they made toys for The Incredibles)... woulda been sweet to see him another time and show him around.

Dave Brockie aka ODERUS URUNGUS from GWAR. He spat fake blood in my face when I asked for an autograph, then gave me one anyway. Granted it was at a meet and greet that I met him...but it still counts.

when i was little i went to a holloween party and Daniel Stern was there (he was in Home Alone). And i was outside flicking matches at a dumpster and he knocked the matchbook out of my hand hella hard. If i would have been a little older i would have thumped his melon. I think he thought i was trying to set the garbage on fire. Retarded actors.

Princess Patience Burton - she sang me nursery rhymes when I was 7.

Made the Queen and Prince Philip suffer my violin playing.

Was in the same year as Simon Cowell, but I have no recollection of him even if my best mate remembers him as a sarcastic b back then.

George W. Bush made me miss an important test some years ago when I was stuck in traffic due to the White House security protocols.

That's as close as I ever got … and he should be glad about it.

I met ROBIN WILLIAMS in a mall a few years back. I shook his hand and told him I enjoy his work. Simple enough thing to say. He went on to ask if I hand anything I wanted to have signed. I didnt, and he apologized for assuming so, but instead on jumped on the oppertunity to see if he would do a voice for me.
He Chuckled and asked who. Popeye I replied, I use to see it on TV when I was a kid. He said SURE, and without skipping a beat he twicked his face up as though he was gripping a pipe and said, "Well Blow me down".
It was so awesome, I had a huge smile along with a bunch of other people around. I shook his hand and said Thank you. Few other words were said but it was a cool Celebrity experience. Better than Most Ive had.

Which leads me into my 7 years or Bouncing at some Night clubs. I have no desire to talk trash about people , so I leave it to say that I helped escort a few out.
Chris Jericho & a couple other wrestlers
    Nick Cage
    O.D.B.
    Michelle Rodriguez
    Richard Gere
Snow (remember that guy... Informer, haha)

    DMX

    Conventions:
I met, Ray Park, Lou Ferigno, Bruce Timm from Comic conventions. Met CA's own Marko Djurdjevic as well
