Thats sounds like a good and honest idea, but then again... well me at least, i just cant justify the action, having to buy art supplies all the time and stuff, now if i had some extra extra cash then i would definitely go for it, and i think most of us are in the same situation. I think that instead of gathering funds for our fallen brothers we could focus on exposing the culprits as the thieves they are. *cough* Manley*cough*

I just wanted to say that I take this very seriously and sent this over to management at TAD as soon as it came to my attention this evening as TAD handles all video finances, and has done so for over three years.

It is true that Brad and I have had a somewhat volatile professional relationship, and while we have had our differences and disagreements, I have nothing but respect for what he does and consider him of the most talented designers and illustrators in the industry. If he, or anyone else is owed something, they need to be paid. There are no if's and or buts about it. Neither I personally, nor does ConceptArt.org, have any access to video royalty payment information at all as that has been handled by TAD finance, but those that do have been informed that they need to check into this immediately, and I believe that TAD has made a response that John English will be taking responsibility for any errors that may have occurred.

i just need to ask in case (in all likelihood) brad shares the emails he has backed up. are you saying that the conversations he mentions in his post never occurred? that he made up these accusations and that you never spoke to him in the terms he described while you were working with tad? i think with a matter like this thats so public its very important to be clear about this- for all of us here on the forum and for everyone out there who may look to work with any of the entities involved in the future.

I've watched this play out since Brad Rigney's article appeared on Deviant Art. I see a lot of angry words floating around in the comments there and here. A lot of bad blood I don't know anything about.

It's worrying and I feel a bit sick to my stomach right now. But I'm going to wait and see how things pan out because I'm very much a proponent of fairness and hearing all sides of every story.

I just really was concerned for the artists being paid, but the "hur hur visit my forum" and other obnoxious shit isn't making it friendly to go to to those options either. It feels just as skeevy as the topic of this thread.
