a lot of people that watch sports are just drama queens. Get get off on the players emotions rather than the actual game. I met a man like this once, a distasteful man that went on and on about how this poor sports player couldn't afford the proper shoes for kicking. Pathetic!

Maybe the anime guy has other priorities? Seeing that he IS writing anime, maybe that's where his passion is?
I mean, if you want to make an anime, you don't HAVE to draw. You can just hire someone to draw for you and you can focus on the writing...

Then again, I have no idea what this person has been saying to you, so what I'm writing are just assumptions.

On the side note, my left hand is apparently .5 cm longer than my right hand. It's kind of freaking me out.

Is artist's block a legit thing or do I just suck? I've been trying to draw the same frickin hand for the last hour, probably erased it fifty times. One of those days I suppose.

You know, until last week I never imaged Elwell was in his 40's. I don't know, I thought he was at most 39.

He HAS no priorities, and the only passion he has is for power fantasy. I've known him since autumn of last year, and I really doubt he has any future in anything, as he is now. It's all up to him if he's ever gonna change.

I just checked and lo and behold, so is mine. After some thorough investigation it turns out they're actually identical except for my middle fingers, where my left is about 0.5 cm longer than my right. I draw lefty but thats pretty much it.

For the past 2 years, for some reason,
I thought he was in his 60s.

Then, I really don't know what to say. Hopefully he'll be able to pick himself up soon.

Is your left your dominant hand?
Unlike iambanana I'm right-handed (but it's good to know I'm not the only one whose hands are uneven).
Or..wait, you only DRAW with left? Then scratch the "unlike" part.

I tried writing with left (for some time I had the crazy idea to do calligraphy with my left hand), but after about two months of practice my handwriting doesn't look much better than that of a four-year-old's.

If it's me you're referring to, then yes. It can get to be a bit ridiculous every once in a while. Like, where does the line get drawn between drawing and something else? For instance, I prefer using my right hand when using spray cans.

I figured this is the place to put this!

I keep finding so many good bargains on eBay, I tend to get most of my art supplies from there and have done for some years now. I've saved over half the normal price on some Winsor & Newton acrylics and mediums, and bought 400 sheets of A2 and 200 sheets of A3 drawing paper for a ridiculously cheap price. It can't even compare to my university art shop where they "discount" everything (they sell most things cheaper than other art shops in the city). I have spent quite a bit of money in one go, but I've saved about the same amount of money that I've just spent, if not more! I love a good bargain.

Just nipped to the shop round the corner and there was BMW on fire with a fire engine in attendance.

Must be something in the air...
Yesterday there was an ambulance (and police) in my neighbourhood 'cause someone had fallen into the water (we have huge ponds etc. all over the place here).

The day before that someone in my street got unwell on the 2nd floor, so they had to get him out the window with a fire engine to get him to the ambulance.
After seeing how they operate, my respect for the fire brigade and ambulance personel has increased even more.

    ---------------

I love finding good deals online, but I feel guilty for not supporting my local art store (though their inventory is seriously limited).

For me, Fire engines take up about a hour a day at the moment. 2 year old son is obsessed with them. Calls them a 'Nani'. Every time I pick up my laptop, its 'nani! mani!' It's amazing what you can get used to playing in the background of your life. Type 'fire engine responding' into youtube and you'll see what I mean.

I have discovered today the ____world problems of reddit. Am strongly tempted right now to degenerate into incoherency (plus side: "very unique" artistic inspiration). Fellow CAers, I waveringly recommend you check it out: the cosmology of reddit.

Forewarning: you may, afterward, wish to return to the comfort of infantile Lovecraftian darkness; This takes you Beyond.

Wetcanvas gives me hope that one day I'll be good at painting.
I really want to know if that one person on there is just trollin', or whether they're serious.

See, I want to buy supplies on eBay, but everything I've ever bought on there has either bot been as described or flat out just didn't work... Hence sticking to places like amazon. It may be more expensive, but at least I know what I'm getting.

Carnivourous plants, kids and family, same shit if you ask me.

But seriously, that picture of the plants stunned me half a second. The only time I've ever seen them is close up pictures in textbooks.

Where do you buy those anyway? Any ole plant store? (99 cent plants??)
