Aha, thank you! Mind you, I've still a long way to go.

Actually i think maybe it's less laziness than you're so roaring to go into the drawing that you pass over some of the more constructional phases. I'm saying that cause there's this energy showing through your pics, which is one of things i like most about it. Don't ever lose that for sure! But yeah, some construction beforehand can do wonders. Btw, sitting boy there has two forelegs of different width and a peculiarly shaped forearm. Just saying :p
cripes those characters. *mind blown*
Haha hot damn, sorry for the late replies, guys. I've been getting settled in uni.
Walnut: I KNEW something was off with him. I just couldn't put my finger on it. Limbs are my number on enemy. I'll get some practicing done on those things over this week, if freshers doesn't ruin me, that is.
Nim: Ahaha, cheers, yo. About time I started chucking up more shady characters.
love these! marker?

No actually! Digital again. I've been experimenting more with brushes and all that.
Ah man, everything's so sketchy lately but I'm trying to get back into the swing of things. Sorry guys.
I like your style! Very lively and "fluid"

Just stopped in to say that it's amazing how you've improved (and your style has changed) throughout your sketchbook. Really great stuff!

Uni's been good guys. I'm only going to post a few sketches I've done from the last project. Very, very, very busy lately. I'll definitely do replies some time though.

Dear Naidy...fuck off![]()

This update is really good I think. You're confident as ever and I love the look on the face of the last girl. It looks like you're beginning to break away from your usual face stylization a bit as well. That's great!

i would say you need to work more on you structure/proportions, but i know structure and the flow of lines are conflicting matters, just make sure you dont loose those wonderful lines![]()

naids my lady! my first semester of uni is ending soon and it's SUCH a weird feeling - that my undergrad life is 1/8 done. when are your hols?
lines are beautiful as always and I want to eat them (that's a compliment) as usual though sometimes esp. on the arm of the third-to-last figure it feels a bit like the form being described is a gloopy appendage instead of something with solid muscle underneath..
and I like this a lot![]()

Partying hard 24/7
But let me try to atleast respond to SOME of these wonderful comments. Most everyone else is on a trip to Rome so I'll be chilling in halls getting work done. Hopefully I'll pick up the studies again and have enough time to rekindle the usual activity I have on here. Christ. Everything's moving so fast and I love it.
Pgf95: YOU'LL NEVER BE RID OF ME
Axelga: Slowly but surely! I noticed that since summer I've really baddly neglected construction whilst drawing heads. I think that's why they've been so similarly stylised lately. I've actually forgotten how to draw different noses, head shapes too. Got to dive back into the foundations again.
Vritra: thdutdsd! I can't believe you chucking stars at a n00b book. I'll have to step up my game, this update's for you, yo.
Kendall: Kendall, I don't know how I'm getting anything done either. I think sleep's the main thing I've sacrificed. But I wouldn't change that for anything. THE THINGS I'VE SEEN. THE PEOPLE I'VE DONE (well that's a complete lie, but who knows. Give me another term to work my charms))
Aragah: That's a problem I've been noticing myself. I was starting to get ontop of it before summer but ended up going backwards again. I'm going to try to pick up my pace and squeeze in some daily studies again. Like I did this weekend. I'm pretty slow now though, which is a bit frustrating.
krysjez: Bah, I'm back on the 22nd. So that's a way-while, really. But I'm sort of glad? I preffer it in London than I do the isle of Man, so I'll savour the rest of the time here. Cheers for the kind words anyway, hope you're enjoying yourself!
Here's /some/ of this week's stuff. Might do some expression studies later.
Love the demon and the lady from the top perspective.![]()
And one more.
Oh oop. Forgot to write crits for myself.
- Stop all that slanty/lazy floating features on faces shit. Keep an eye on structure at all time, you nonce.
- Shoulder studies. Do lots of them. Dear god.
- Get back into gesture studies
- Keep an eye on hands. They're looking plain wrong in certain angles.
